2nd leg Preview – Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich

Real-Madrid-vs-Bayern-MunichAfter taking the 1st leg 2-1, Real Madrid will face Bayern Munich at home on next Wednesday morning at 4:45am. Real Madrid has been installed as the $1.95 favourite at William Hill to win this clash.

In the 1st leg, Bayern Munich opened the scoring through Josh Kimmich in the 27th minute and generally dominated the play. However, Real Madrid staged a comeback in the second half. Marcelo Vieira scored from outside the box in the 43rd minute. Then a defensive error by Bayern Munich cost them dearly in the 56th minute as Marco Asensio slotted an easy goal.

So Real Madrid basically hold a 1-0 lead coming into this clash and should be confident of keeping Bayern Munich quiet in attack once again.

2nd leg Preview – Roma vs Liverpool

Roma vs LiverpoolThe 2nd leg between Liverpool and Roma will begin on Thursday, 3rd May at 4:45am (AEST). Liverpool is coming off a 5-2 victory at home in the 1st leg, so Roma will need to find a way of stopping Liverpool’s attack.

In the betting, both sides are equally favoured to win this match at $2.50 with William Hill.

The first leg was dominated by Mohamed Salah in the first half and Roberto Firmino in the second half. Both players scored doubles within 10 minutes of their first goal. At one stage, Liverpool led 5-0 and it was looking very ugly for Roma.

However, a late goal to Edin Dzeko in the 80th minute and a penalty goal Diego Perotti in the 84th minute provided some relief for the away side coming into the 2nd leg. It’s a tough challenge to score 3 or more goals and they’ll also need to basically keep Liverpool scoreless. After conceding 5 goals in the 1st leg, it’s hard to see that happening.
