Euro 2024: Free Tips & Today's Best Bets | 19 June, 2024

The first round of Euro 2024 Group Stage matches is over. We’ve gotten a taste of what every team has to offer and are gearing up for round two, starting on 19 June. Get ready for all the action with our Euro 2024 betting tips and predictions for every match.  

Here are our best bets for Croatia vs. Albania, Germany vs. Hungary, and Scotland vs. Switzerland. 

Albania +1.5 ($1.52) | Playup 

Croatia’s 3-0 loss to Spain in their first match could be a sign that this Golden Generation of Croat stars is finally coming to an end. Luka Modric, Andrej Kramaric, and Mateo Kovacic were all withdrawn from the match early, not having the gas needed to keep up with Spain.  

Albania, meanwhile, stunned Italy, scoring in under a minute to start their Euro 2024 campaign. The Red and Blacks looked uncomfortable leading the match and soon lost it. Italy scored twice before the 20 minute mark and eventually won the match 2-1.  

Even if Croatia don’t have the talent to contend anymore, they have enough talent to beat Albania. We’re not sure it will be a big victory though. Albania looked tough at times against Italy. We like their chances of keeping things close here.

Hungary failed to live up to their Euro 2024 dark horse tag in their first Group A match against Switzerland. The Hungarians were thoroughly out-classed by a more talented and better organized side.  

In their opening match, hosts Germany dismantled an abysmal Scotland team 5-1. Hungary could give the Die Mannschaft a tougher challenge than Scotland did, but we don’t see any way Germany don’t dominate this match.  

If the Germany that played against Scotland shows up against Hungary, they should be able to score three goals by themselves. OVER 2.5 Goals is a safe bet here. 

Switzerland To WIN ($1.81) | Bet Right

No team disappointed their fans more during Euro 2024’s opening weekend than Scotland. Over 100,000 members of the Tartan Army swarmed upon Munich last weekend only to see their side get battered 5-1.  

The Scots were obviously less talented on the day. What’s worse is that they looked clueless and completely disorganized tactically. This is unusual and something we don’t expect to see again on 19 June against Switzerland.  

With that being said, Switzerland looked brilliant against Hungary. Like Germany, they were better organized and more talented than their opponents.  

They may not blow Scotland away like Germany did, but we’re confident that Switzerland will get the win.
