Euro 2024: Free Tips & Today's Best Bets | 6 July 2024

Two more teams are set to be eliminated on July 6 (July 7 AEST) when favourites England take on Switzerland and the Netherlands face off against Turkey. While this is the ‘easy side’ of the Euro 2024 bracket, we are expecting plenty of excitement on Saturday.

UEFA Euro 2024 favourites England have a clear path to the final. While other top teams–Spain, France, Portugal, and Germany–battle it out on the other side of the bracket, the Three Lions just need to beat Switzerland and the

Netherlands or Turkey. Unfortunately for the English, we don’t see it happening.  

The Swiss have been one of the best teams at Euro 2024. They are undefeated and averaging nearly two goals a game. Switzerland are outscoring opponents by an average of one goal per match.  

The Euro betting sites have England as favourites here, but we can’t see them getting past this Swiss side.

As poor as England have been at Euro 2024, they have been pretty solid defensively. Switzerland are no slouch either. Both teams have conceded less than a goal per match at this tournament and have solid centre backs to prevent easy set piece goals. 

With all this being said, we think it’s fair to say that this match will not have many goals. Specifically, we can’t see either team rushing out to an early lead. This match is not going to be a goalfest. If there are any goals at all, we’re willing to bet that they come in the second half.  

OVER 2.5 Goals ($1.77) | Bet Right 

Turkey’s match vs. Austria in the Round of 16 is a strong contender to be the match of the Euro 2024 tournament so far. The Turks somehow keep scoring. In defence, they could be one of the most fun teams in football right now.  

The Dutch, meanwhile, clinically took down Romania in the last round to advance to the quarter-final. Cody Gakpo dominated the match, scoring a brilliant goal to open things for the Netherlands.  

The last time these two played, The Netherlands won 6-1. This won’t be that big a blowout, but we expect to see goals. Whether the Dutch dominate or Turkey make it interesting, OVER 2.5 Goals is a safe bet.
