The third day of UEFA Euro 2024 matches brings us France vs. Belgium and Portugal vs. Slovenia. If the Euro betting sites favourites win, we could have an absolutely stacked quarterfinal with France, Portugal, Spain, and Germany all fighting for one spot in the.

Four years ago, a matchup of France vs. Belgium potentially could have been one of the matches of the tournament. In 2024, we’re expecting a much less exciting affair. 

Belgium and France scored a combined 3 goals in the Group Stage and played to two disappointing 0-0 draws in their last match. The Round of 16 is a whole different kettle of fish though, so we’re expecting better from these teams now.  
France have the talent advantage at every position. If they do rise to the occasion, they should win easily here.

Slovenia did their job in the Group Stage. Their three draws in three matches was enough to see them advance to the Round of 16. Unfortunately for Slovenia fans, our Euro 2024 predictions don’t have them going any further than that. 

Portugal have looked a bit disjointed at times with Cristiano Ronaldo leading the line, but they are one of the favourites for a reason. Portugal are stacked at every position and have created chances better than anyone else at Euro 2024 so far. No team racked up more xG in the Group Stage. 

We expect Portugal to show their class and run rampant against Slovenia on Monday.
