Liverpool are Premier League champions! The Reds secured their 20th title with a dominating 5-1 win over Tottenham. At the other end of the table, Ipswich Town were officially relegated. Just because the top and bottom are decided, though, doesn’t mean the season’s over.
Matchweek 35 is full of great fixtures that could have a huge impact on the race for European places. We’re here to help you get ready for all the action with EPL betting tips and predictions for every match.

Manchester City vs. Wolves
Etihad Stadium, 5:00 AM, Saturday, May 3
After beating Leicester City 3-0 last weekend, Wolves have won six straight matches. This makes them the most in-form team in European football right now. Despite this record, we can’t back them to win this match.
Manchester City aren’t quite back to their old selves, but they have ironed out a lot of their issues from earlier this season. They have won six of their last seven matches and have scored multiple goals in four consecutive games.
Beyond the recent run, Pep Guardiola’s side are also very strong at home this season. Liverpool and Arsenal are the only teams that have a better record than City at home in 2024/25.
Wolves may score a goal on the counter-attack, but City will win this game.
Man City v Wolves Prediction: 3-1

Wolves: Sa; Doherty, Agbadou, Toti; Semedo, J.Gomes, Andre, Ait-Nouri; Munetsi, Strand Larsen, Cunha
Aston Villa vs. Fulham
Villa Park, 9:30 PM, Saturday, May 3
Aston Villa suffered a shocking exit in the FA Cup at the hands of Crystal Palace last weekend. The Villans lost 3-0 in a game where Unai Emery was completely out-coached by Oliver Glasner.
As bad as that result was, the silver lining is that Villa can now focus on the Champions League. If they win out, they will likely finish in the top five.
Fulham, meanwhile, are theoretically fighting for a spot in next year’s Europa League. On the pitch, though, the Cottagers look like their season is over. They have lost four of their last six matches, and have not won away from home since February. Marco Silva’s side haven’t been unlucky to lose those matches either. They have created less xG than their opposition in five of their last six games in all competitions.
Aston Villa have lost just one match at home this season. We expect them to win this match and keep their Champions League hopes alive.
Aston Villa vs. Fulham Prediction: 2-1
Bookmaker | Tip | Odds |
Aston Villa To WIN | $1.72
Total Goals By Aston Villa - OVER 1.5 | $1.70
Both Teams To Score - YES | $1.70 |
Predicted Lineups
Villa: Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Torres, Digne; Kamara, Tielemans; Rogers, Asensio, McGinn; Watkins
Fulham: Leno; Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Lukic, Berge; Sessegnon, Pereira, Iwobi; Jimenez
Everton vs. Ipswich Town
Goodison Park, 12:00 AM, Sunday, May 4
We’ve been singing Everton’s praises for months now since David Moyes took over. However, after two straight unconvincing performances, we’re starting to lose faith in the Toffees. It’s not that we think they're a bad side. They just might be already on the beach.
Ipswich Town are in a similar position. The Tractor Boys’ relegation was officially confirmed in Matchweek 34 with their 3-0 defeat to Newcastle. They don’t have anything to play for now. But, as we’ve seen with Leicester and Southampton, there’s a chance Ipswich play with more freedom now that they know they are going down.
Another point in favour of Kieran McKenna’s side here is their away record. Ipswich have earned three of their four wins this season away from home. Everton, meanwhile, have conceded more goals at home than away this year.
It’s risky, but we’re predicting a draw here.
Everton vs. Ipswich Town Prediction: 1-1
Bookmaker | Tip | Odds |
Draw No Bet - Ipswich | $4.60
Double Chance X2 - Ipswich WIN or DRAW | $2.55
UNDER 2.5 Goals | $1.92 |
Predicted Lineups
Everton: Pickford; Patterson, O’Brien, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Gueye, Garner; Harrison, Doucoure, Ndiaye; Beto
Ipswich: Palmer; O’Shea, Woolfenden, Burgess, Greaves; Morsy, Taylor; Hutchinson, Chaplin, Clarke; Delap
Leicester City vs. Southampton
King Power Stadium, 12:00 AM, Sunday, May 4
We would call this a relegation six-pointer, except it doesn’t matter. Both Leicester City and Southampton are going down this season. All they have to play for is pride. With that being the case, we’re expecting a really good game here.
Leicester have the embarrassing record of being the first team in English Football League history to go nine matches without scoring at home. Southampton, meanwhile, need just a point to avoid finishing with the joint-worst record in EPL history.
Neither of these teams are particularly good defensively either. The Foxes have gone an astonishing 30 matches without keeping a clean sheet. Saints have conceded in 15 straight matches.
We can’t pick a winner for this match, but our predictions say to bet on there being goals.
Leicester vs. Southampton Prediction: 2-2
Predicted Lineups
Leicester: Hermansen; Justin, Faes, Coady, Thomas; Ndidi, Soumare; De Cordova-Reid, El Khannouss, Ayew; Vardy
Southampton: Ramsdale; Harwood-Bellis, Bednarek, Stephens; Walker-Peters, Downes, Ugochukwu, Manning; Fernandes, Stewart, Sulemana
Arsenal vs. Bournemouth
Emirates Stadium, 2:30 AM, Sunday, May 4
After Liverpool’s 5-1 win over Tottenham, Arsenal officially fell out of the title race. Mikel Arteta’s side are also halfway to being eliminated from the Champions League, following their 1-0 loss to PSG on Tuesday. Overall, the Gunners have won just two of their last five matches.
Bournemouth are also in a bad spot right now. The Cherries have won only one of their last 12 games in all competitions. If you’ve watched them during this stretch, you will have seen that they look tired. Andoni Iraola’s tactics seem to be taking a toll and they can’t close out games like they used to.
Because of this, we find it hard to back Bournemouth to win here. However, we give the Cherries a chance to keep things close.
Arsenal have failed to win every match they've played between UCL games in 2025. With the big second leg against PSG coming up so soon after this game, we don’t expect to see the Gunners in top form.
Arsenal vs. Bournemouth Prediction: 1-0
Predicted Lineups
Arsenal: Raya; White, Saliba, Kiwior, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Partey, Rice; Nwaneri, Trossard, Martinelli
Bournemouth: Arrizabalaga; Smith, Zabarnyi, Huijsen, Kerkez; Scott, Adams; Semenyo, Kluivert, Tavernier; Ouattara
Brentford vs. Manchester United
Gtech Community Stadium, 11:00 PM, Sunday, May 4
Over the last three seasons, Manchester United have struggled against Brighton, Brentford, and Bournemouth in the EPL. They survived a battle against one of these B clubs last weekend (Bournemouth), but Brentford could be a different story.
The Bees are just three places ahead of Man Utd in the table, but they are a much better side. Yoane Wissa, Kevin Schade, and Bryan Mbeumo would walk into Ruben Amorim’s team. Most Red Devils fans would also probably take at least three of Brentford’s back four.
Beyond the talent, we don’t expect Man Utd to take this match seriously. The only competition that matters for this team right now is the Europa League. The Red Devils have beaten two teams in the EPL since February 1, Ipswich and Leicester.
Brentford are better than those teams and should win this match.
Brentford vs. Manchester United Prediction: 2-1
Predicted Lineups
Brentford: Flekken; Ajer, Collins, van den Berg, Lewis-Potter; Norgaard, Janelt; Mbeumo, Damsgaard, Schade; Wissa
Man Utd: Onana; Yoro, Maguire, Lindelof; Mazraoui, Mainoo, Casmiro, Dorgu; Garnacho, Hojlund, Fernandes
Brighton vs. Newcastle
American Express Stadium, 11:00 PM, Sunday, May 4
Brighton’s 3-2 win over West Ham in Matchweek 34 saw them jump right back into the race for a place in next year’s UEFA Conference League. Newcastle, meanwhile, are hoping to secure a spot in the top five with a win in Matchweek 35. Getting the win they need might be difficult for Eddie Howe’s team, though.
The Magpies have beaten Brighton just twice in the EPL since the two sides were promoted together in the 2017/2018 season. The last win for Newcastle was in May 2023, while the Seagulls have already beaten the Tyneside club twice this year, once in the EPL and once in the FA Cup.
That said, Newcastle are the far more consistent team right now. They have won seven of their last eight matches. Howe and his assistant coach Jason Tindall used the same starting lineup in seven of those same fixtures.
Brighton, on the other hand, have had to chop and change their lineup due to injury and suspension. Mats Wieffer and Carlos Baleba—two defensive midfielders—played right-back and centre-back in Brighton’s last match, respectively.
Brighton vs. Newcastle Prediction: 1-2
Bookmaker | Tip | Odds |
Brighton Goals Range - Between 1 & 2 Inclusive | $1.58
OVER 2.5 Goals | $1.58 | |
Newcastle To WIN | $2.30 |
Predicted Lineups
Brighton: Verbruggen; Wieffer, Dunk, Baleba, Estupinan; Ayari, Hinshelwood; Minteh, O’Riley, Mitoma; Welbeck
Newcastle: Pope; Trippier, Schar, Burn, Livramento, Guimaraes, Tonali, Willock; Murphy, Isak, Barnes
West Ham vs. Tottenham Hotspur
London Stadium, 11:00 PM, Sunday, May 4
Tottenham suffered a 5-1 defeat by Liverpool last weekend in a match that saw the Reds secure their 20th league title. Given that huge story, not much has been said about Spurs’ performance in that game. Take it from us, they were shockingly poor. Despite what we saw, our EPL predictions give them a chance to win this match.
West Ham, to be blunt, feel a bit pointless right now. Graham Potter has not put his imprint on this side, and we’re starting to wonder if it’s even possible for him to do so. Potter might be thinking the same.
After the 3-2 loss to Brighton, the Englishman looked distraught and told the media that he was “in too much pain to talk about the positives.” Niclas Fullkrug echoed Potter’s sentiment. The Hammers striker said he was “very angry” in a swear-filled rant after a draw with Southampton in Matchweek 33.
Neither of these sides is safe to bet on right now, but it looks like the wheels have fallen off at West Ham, so we’re picking Spurs to win.
West Ham vs. Tottenham Prediction: 2-0
Bookmaker | Tip | Odds |
Double Chance 2 - Tottenham to WIN or DRAW | $1.65
Draw No Bet - Tottenham | $2.07
UNDER 3.5 Goals | $1.58 |
Predicted Lineups
West Ham: Areola; Todibo, Mavropanos, Kilman; Wan-Bissake, Paqueta, Ward-Browse, Soucek, Scarles; Kudus, Bowen
Tottenham: Vicario; Spence, Danso, van de Ven, Udogie; Maddison, Bentancur, Bergvall; Johnson, Solanke, Tel
Chelsea vs. Liverpool
Stamford Bridge, 1:30 AM, Monday, May 5
After winning the league at home in Matchweek 34, Liverpool will head to London to secure their title for the first time this season. However, we think the Reds side we will see in Matchweek 35 will be quite different from the one that secured the title last weekend.
Arne Slot’s side have nothing to play for and will likely rest some stars. We expect to see Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah all starting from the bench. Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai might also be rested.
These changes give Chelsea a real chance to pull off an upset here, which they desperately need to finish in the top five this season. The only problem with this line of thinking is that we can’t trust the Blues to turn up offensively right now.
Enzo Maresca’s side have created less than 1.25 xG in five of their last seven EPL matches. We think they’ll need to score at least two to beat Liverpool, so we’re picking a draw here.
Chelsea vs. Liverpool Prediction: 1-1
Bookmaker | Tip | Odds |
Chelsea Goals Range - Between 1 & 2 Inclusive | $1.63
Total Goals By Liverpool - UNDER 1.5 | $1.60
UNDER 3.5 Goals | $1.60 |
Predicted Lineups
Chelsea: Sanchez; Caicedo, Chalobah, Colwill, Cucurella; Fernandez, Lavia; Madueke, Palmer, Neto; Jackson
Liverpool: Alisson; Endo, Konate, Quansah,Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Diaz, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Nunez
Crystal Palace vs. Nottingham Forest
Selhurst Park, 5:00 AM, Tuesday, May 6
Crystal Palace defeated Aston Villa 3-0 to advance to the FA Cup final, while Nottingham Forest fell 2-0 to Manchester City in their semifinal match. In other words, this very easily could have been an FA Cup final match. That said, we don’t expect this match to be as exciting as a cup final.
Forest have lost three of their last five matches and are barely hanging on to a spot in the top five. One more loss could see them fall out of the Champions League race altogether.
For Palace, the rest of this season is about the FA Cup. We’ll be stunned if they come out energized in any match before the final.
Crystal Palace vs. Nottingham Forest Prediction: 1-1
Bookmaker | Tip | Odds |
Forest Goals Range - Between 1 & 2 Inclusive | $1.60
Both Teams To Score - YES | $1.76
UNDER 2.5 Goals | $1.96 |
Predicted Lineups
Palace: Henderson; Richards, Lacroix, Guehi; Munoz, Wharton, Kamada, Mitchell; Sarr, Mateta, Eze
Forest: Sels; Williams, Milenkovic, Murillo, Moreno; Dominguez, Anderson; Elanga, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Wood
