India Virat Kohli’s side came into the tournament as one of the favorites and have lived up to the reputation. They finished at the top of the points table with a single loss against England in the league stages. It is the Indian top order that has set up win for the side with Rohit Sharma looking in brilliant form having already registered a record fifth hundred for the tournament. India’s bowling line-up has been exceptional so far in the tournament. The only worry for Kohli would be the form of his middle and lower middle order as they haven’t been able to do well in the final power play. In a high pressure contest Kohli would expect his men to put their best step forward and earn a place in the final of the tournament. Openers KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma are in brilliant form and they have put on three century plus stands already with Rohit having already made five centuries in the tournament. Kohli has been consistent throughout the tournament and would like to convert his start into a big score. Rishab Pant and Hardik Pandya have done well as finishers in most of the games. While the form of MS Dhoni remains a concern for the side he would be expected to use his vast experience in the upcoming game. Jasprit Bhumrah has been the best death bowler and Mohammad Shami has been brilliant with the new ball. Pandya has played the role of a fifth bowler well and has offered flexibility to the line-up. The spin twins Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav have had a good tournament and they would be looking to do brilliantly in the next game.
