This tournament is a great stepping stone for Zimbabwean cricketers and those from other African countries. The tournament will coincide with the Caribbean Premier League, and hence, some of the teams have had to make big changes in their teams this year.

They will be one of the major contenders for the title. They have good hitters in the lineup and a bowling attack that can cause trouble for the bowlers. With players like David Willey, Dawid Malan, Gulbadin Naib, Qais Ahmed, and Adam Rossington in the squad, they will be one of the teams to watch out for this season.

The team arrives in a new avatar. On paper, the Bolts would be one of the toughest sides to play against. However, they didn't meet the expectations last year and barely made the playoffs. Former Sri Lankan skipper Dasun Shanaka takes charge of the side and aims to get the best performances out of them. They have got some of the best players in the shorter format. The batting lineup is highly experienced, and players like James Neesham, George Munsey, Sean Williams, and Junaid Siddique will look to deliver the goods.

They have a strong bowling attack that will not be easy to score against. Their batting isn't the strongest, but they have players who have proven their skills. Players like Carlos Brathwaite, Richard Ngarava, Akila Dhananjaya, and Wellington Masakadza will look to turn the team's fortunes this year.

The team makes its debut this year, and they will look to make their presence felt. Blessing Muzarabani, Asif Ali, Najibullah Zadran, and Oshane Thomas are good players in this format, and they will compete hard in the middle.
