The team has a strong batting line-up, and a good show would be expected from their bowlers this year. They have a mix of youth and experience, putting them ahead of some of their competitors. 

# Queensland Bulls         

They finished third on the points table last year, narrowly missing the final. They won the title last in 2020-21, their 9th win and the side will look to make it double-digit this year. They have some of the most promising young players in Australian cricket, which will add to their confidence. Most of their players had done well in the previous edition, and the side would surely like to begin from where it had left earlier this year. 

# New South Wales Blues            

The most successful side in the tournament's history, they will eye their 48th title this season. They failed to win a single game last year, their worst performance ever and first bottom-place finish since 2008-09.  They last won the title in 2019-20. The batting line-up lacks the firepower it once had, but they have a potent bowling attack. It will be interesting to see how their batsmen perform this year, as it will be key to success for the side in this game.      

# Tasmanian Tigers         

They finished 5th on the points table and the side will be looking for a better show this year. Since 2012-13 when they won their last title, the side has often been found wanting in crucial games. They have won only three titles so far and have struggled against the better sides. They have a good bunch of experienced players who have shared the dressing room for the last few years, and the side would like to use this to their advantage and aim at their fourth title.  

# South Australia Redbacks         

They have been the most inconsistent side in the last decade six bottom-place finishes in the last 10 editions. They won two games last year, their best show in seven years. A few generations of South Australian cricketers haven’t been a part of a title-winning team, with their last win coming back in 1995-96. Their immediate challenge would be to avoid the poor start that has plagued them this decade. They are struck at the unlucky 13 titles and shall need a bit of luck to get over the jinx.
