What inspired you to write about sports?

As soon as I realised that I wasn’t going to make it as a professional tennis player, I decided to try and combine my love for sports with my other passion, writing. Although I can’t play professionally, writing is the next best thing and I truly love what I do.

What’s your favorite sport to watch or play, and why?

I have always loved watching football, although supporting Spurs over the years hasn’t been the easiest. I obviously still love tennis and try to watch and play that as much as time allows.

What’s the most memorable game or match you’ve attended or followed?

I have been lucky enough to attend a few Tottenham vs Arsenal matches. Although Spurs don’t often end up on the winning side, the atmosphere can often be electric.

What’s a fun fact people might not know about you?

I am trying to teach myself how to play golf. There is a thought that most good tennis players can pick up gold fairly quickly! I am certainly putting that theory to the test!

When you’re not writing about sports, what do you usually do?

I have turned into a bit of a history buff, so I am often listening to History podcasts when not working.
