Ninth place Everton welcome fifth placed Manchester United to Goodison Stadium for this Premier League tie.

Everton lost 2-0 away to already relegated Fulham on the weekend and that defeat ended a run of three wins in a row for the Toffees. The Blues lost 2-1 to United in Old Trafford earlier in the season but have won three of their last six away games.

Man Utd beat West Ham 2-1 in Old Trafford on Saturday evening thanks to two Paul Pogba penalties – that victory ended a run of two losses in a row after they lost 1-0 to Barcelona in the Champions League and 2-1 to Wolves in the Premier League.

Everton are too far off a Europa League qualification spot and have nothing really left to play for this season, but they have beaten both Chelsea and Arsenal in their last four matches so they will be up for added United to their list of scalps.

Man Utd have a vital Champions League quarter-final second leg tie with Barcelona at the Nou Camp coming up before this game and there minds will be focused on that this week. The Reds lost 1-0 at home in the first game and still have a chance of going through to the semi-final. A 1-1 draw could be a possible outcome.
