Bournemouth vs Liverpool: Predictions, Betting Tips & Odds
Eddie Howe welcomes Liverpool to Dean Court hoping that his side can regain the form of a couple of months ago.
Eddie Howe has been just the latest to suffer from the curse of the Manager of the Month award. The Bournemouth head coach picked up the prize for his side’s three wins out of four in October. Unfortunately the Cherries didn’t pick up a single point in November and now face a very good Liverpool side.
Liverpool are probably still on a high after the injury time drama of the Merseyside derby – Jürgen Klopp for one was definitely very pleased with the result. Manchester City may be getting all the headlines concerning the league title but Liverpool have matched them all the way so far and will be confident of leaving the south coast with three more points.
Bournemouth may have dropped down the table a little recently but they have impressed everyone with their brand of football this season and look like they will comfortably stay up, if not trouble the European spots. Callum Wilson, in particular, has attracted attention and the striker will want to grab another goal against Liverpool in this one.
Most sports betting sites will have Pep Guardiola’s men as Premier League favourites but Liverpool are still unbeaten and have a good run of games ahead of them. They also play Manchester United and Arsenal at home and will be confident of getting some good results. Bournemouth are a good side but Liverpool’s attack is the key – they could win this 2-1.
- Liverpool to win
They may be playing away from home against a very good Bournemouth team but Liverpool have been picking up points away from Anfield all season and could easily get all three here.
- Both teams to score
With so much attacking talent on show it would seem inconceivable that one of Mo Salah, Callum Wilson or Sadio Mané won’t find the net.
