It is advantage Barcelona as Manchester United travel to the Catalan giants needing to draw on inspiration from their shock comeback against Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16 if they are to have any hope of progression.
Something of a miracle is required from Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s Manchester United if they are to reach the semi-final of the Champions League for the first time since 2011.
A 1-0 home defeat in the first leg has left the Red Devils still in the tie, but understandably now the underdogs with betting sites as Barcelona’s home record in Europe is exemplary.
Ernesto Valverde’s men are unbeaten in their last 12 home European games and have won their last three head to head games against Manchester United.
Neither side looked like they were at the races in the first leg, but worryingly for the English side is that they failed to register a single shot on goal despite being on home soil.
Prior to their Premier League weekend clash, United had lost four of their last five games in all competitions whilst Barca have not lost a competitive game since losing to Sevilla in the Copa Del Rey in January.
It makes sense then to back the home side for the win as United look bereft of fire power and with Luke Shaw suspended, may be a little suspect at the back.
Barcelona have won their last two home games 2-0 and based on United’s inability to take their chances, a third 2-0 home win in three is the best prediction for this game.
Under 2.5 goals
Four of the last five meetings between the two has seen no more than two goals scored making it a worthy bet with famous sportsbooks.
Manchester United to fail to score
Barcelona have not conceded at home in their last two home games in La Liga and the Red Devils have only in scored in two of their last five matches against Barcelona.

A Luke Shaw own goal ensured Barcelona bring Manchester United back to the camp Nou with a lead they never looked in danger of losing.

They also met in the final of the 2009 Champions League with Barcelona winning 2-0.
