Matchday 8 sees both Liverpool and Manchester City at home but it is Jurgen Klopp’s side that have the tougher task in high flying Leicester. City entertain a down on their luck Wolves at the Ethihad. Arsenal may find it difficult at home to Bournemouth while Spurs travel to the south coast to take on Brighton.
Tip – Spurs just haven’t clicked this season – and there are definitely rumblings of discontent on and off the pitch. Brighton will be as solid as ever – and with Graham Potter at the helm the Seagulls have looked more likely to score this season. A draw could be the outcome.

Tip – Sean Dyche has his team battling for points once again and the Clarets are definitely a harder proposition at home rather than away so far this season. Everton have now lost their last three top flight games and may struggle to get anything from this one.
Bet Now on Burnley with 888sport
Tip – This could be one of the games of the day with the ever threatening Liverpool taking on a Leicester City side who have started to live up to their pre-season billing as the team that could break the top four. The home side should still take all the points but it could be a cracker.
Bet Now on Liverpool with 888sport
Tip – Norwich have surprised a lot of people with the success they have had so far this season. Manager Daniel Farke has to take a lot of the credit as he has asked his team to carry on playing the same way that worked so well last season. Villa will know all about the Canaries – but may not be able to stop them.

Tip – It has not been a good start to the season for Watford. The thrashing at the hands of Man City was a major embarrassment and the Hornets have looked nothing like the side that did so well last year. Sheffield United are willing to give anyone a game and could be travelling back to Yorkshire with three points.

Tip – West Ham haven’t always enjoyed playing at the London Stadium but are starting to put together a few decent results. The new players are also beginning to work well with the older faces – so it could be a good year for the Hammers. Palace have been inconsistent and might not fancy this.

Tip – Bournemouth have started the season very brightly and may surprise a few Arsenal fans at the Emirates. Eddie Howe has done an excellent job on the south coast and if he can get his Cherries side to play consistently this season they might trouble a few teams. This could end in a draw.
Tip – With the way that Liverpool have started the campaign, Manchester City know that nothing but a win will do at home to Wolves. The visitors have not looked like the same team that ended up qualifying for Europe last season and it could be a busy afternoon for the Wolves keeper.
Bet Now on Manchester City with 888sport
Tip – Frank Lampard has been forced to play with youth this season as Chelsea are banned from bringing in any new players. But that has given the likes of Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount the chance to shine. It doesn’t always go to plan however – and Southampton could grab a point at home.
Tip – Manchester United have looked like a shadow of their former self at times this year – and do not look like they will trouble City and Liverpool at the top of the table. But Newcastle have looked woeful and bereft of ideas under Steve Bruce – and this could end in more disappointment for their fans.

First place Liverpool welcome second placed Man City to Anfield this weekend with six points separating the two sides.
It is the Seagulls who enter this tie ahead of their illustrious opponents in the Premier League table and there is plenty to suggest there is more disappoint for United in the short term.
