The match is over.
Only a win will do for Norway as their Euro 2020 qualification hopes rest on the edge of a knife as Spain look to book their slot early and prepare for the competition under no pressure.
Both of these sides have been involved in plenty of goals so far this qualifying campaign. Impressively, Norway have score in all six of their group F games as have Spain. That means goals for both is the way to go with popular sportsbooks. Two of the last three meetings between the two has also seen goals at both ends of the pitch just in case you needed a little more convincing.
BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
A slight extension on the above bet as we have already highlighted why both teams are likely to score, but Norway have managed to net eight goals in their six games so far and former European champions Spain have found the back of the net seventeen times at an average of nearly three goals per game. The pairs last three head to heads have also witnessed over 2.5 goals in the game making this too good to ignore with online betting sites for plenty of goal mouth action.
OVER 2.5 GOALS IN THE GAME
Spain have been back to their best in the Euro 2020 qualification process and in each of their three away games so far have led at the break. They have also gone on to win the game in each of those occasions whilst their opponents Norway have looked a little suspect at the back despite still finding the net multiple times in the qualifying campaign. Spain will look the game out in the opening 45 minutes then sit back for the second half.
SPAIN TO WIN THE FIRST HALF
Head to Head
Spain made hard work of collecting the three points in the reverse fixture in March requiring a Sergio Ramos penalty in the second half to get them over the line in a 2-1 win. Norway’s only victory over the Spanish came in Euro 2000 when Steffen Iversen fired his side to a 1-0 group win. Overall, the pair have met seven times with Spain winning five, Norway one and a single draw.
Spain to win and both teams to score
The Spaniards are sitting pretty at the summit of group F with six wins from six. However, despite Norway’s woes, they too have impressed at times scoring in all six of their games. Perhaps fourth in the table is a little unjust for Norway but Spain have the bit between the teeth and know a victory could put the visitors through. That will be all the motivation they need.
