Nashville Predators at Detroit Red Wings

  • Nashville Predators
  • November 4th, 2019, 7:30 pm ET, Little Caesars Arena
  • Detroit Red Wings

Tip – The Nashville Predators remain legitimate Stanley Cup contenders in the Western Conference as they continue to battle for top spot in the difficult Central Division. Detroit on the other hand, are struggling to remain relevant in the Atlantic Division as they find themselves at the bottom of the table. Playing at home won’t help them on Monday evening against Nashville either as the Red Wings have been poor in front of their own fans. This should be an easy victory for the visitors as they cruise to two points in regulation time.

Los Angeles Kings at Toronto Maple Leafs

  • Los Angeles Kings
  • November 5th, 2019, 7:30 pm ET, Scotiabank Arena
  • Toronto Maple Leafs

Tip – The Toronto Maple Leafs haven’t necessarily lived up to their high expectations coming into the campaign, but they haven’t been terrible either. They have been too inconsistent though and will be desperate to take two points on home ice against the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday night. The Kings will be playing the first game of their road trip to Eastern Canada and may not be used to the time difference, which could prove to be another advantage for the home side. Go with Toronto to get the job done against a lackluster Kings’ team that will struggle to reach the postseason.

Arizona Coyotes at Calgary Flames

  • Arizona Coyotes
  • November 6th, 2019, 9:00 pm ET, Scotiabank Saddledome
  • Calgary Flames

Tip – Arizona take on the Calgary Flames in the second half of a difficult back-to-back that sees them play the Oilers in Edmonton the night before. As a result, fatigue could be a real problem for an Arizona team that is not very deep. The Coyotes have had a great start to the season considering they were not tipped to do much, but they haven’t shown they can do it consistently enough to be considering as a legitimate playoff team. They will have a tough task on their hands trying to beat Calgary at the Saddledome, especially with their starting goaltender likely being rested. Take the home team to squeak this one out.

Washington Capitals at Florida Panthers

  • Washington Capitals
  • November 7th, 2019, 7:00 pm ET, BB&T Center
  • Carolina Panthers

Tip – The Washington Capitals have been brilliant on the road this year and will be hoping to keep the trend going when they take on the Panthers in Sunrise on Thursday. The Panthers are no pushovers at home though and we could be in for a tight contest. However, Alexander Ovechkin and company have too much firepower for their hosts to deal with. Take the Capitals to earn another two crucial points on the road in regulation time.

Tampa Bay Lightning at Buffalo Sabres

  • Tampa Bay Lightning
  • November 8th, 2019, 2:00 pm ET, Ericsson Globe
  • Buffalo Sabres

Tip – The Buffalo Sabres have been one of the biggest surprises early in the campaign, showing that they can compete in the Atlantic Division. They have exceeded all expectations thus far and will look to keep the good times rolling in Stockholm, Sweden where they meet the Tampa Bay Lightning for two games. Tampa Bay has looked far from the dominant side we saw during the regular season last year. This should be an entertaining affair between two division rivals with plenty of goals being scored. The over looks like the safest bet.

Toronto Maple Leafs at Chicago Blackhawks

  • Toronto Maple Leafs
  • November 10th, 2019, 7:00 PM ET, United Center
  • Chicago Blackhawks

Tip – Both these teams will have been in action on Saturday night and Toronto should have the advantage because of it. They are the far deeper team and even on the road will enter Sunday’s contest as a heavy favourite. Toronto’s backup goalie Michael Hutchinson will likely get the start at the United Center, despite not being great this year. However, Toronto will still like their chances against a Chicago team that has looked abysmal at times this season. Take Toronto to get the win with lots of goals being scored.
