Arizona Coyotes at Buffalo Sabres

  • Arizona Coyotes
  • October 28th, 2019, 7:00 pm ET, First Niagara Center
  • Buffalo Sabres

Tip – The Arizona Coyotes entered the campaign with not many expectations and early in the season it is easy to understand why. They are not a very talented nor deep hockey team and will be on the outside of the playoff picture once again this year. Buffalo is far from a Stanley Cup contender as well, but they have impressed throughout the month of October and should be a lock for two points on Monday evening.

Washington Capitals at Toronto Maple Leafs

  • Washington Capitals
  • October 29th, 2019, 7:00 pm ET, Scotiabank Arena
  • Toronto Maple Leafs

Tip – The Toronto Maple Leafs host the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night in what should be an entertaining affair for both fans and neutrals alike. Both teams have shown flashes of brilliance to start the season, but neither has been very consistent. Toronto and Washington both possess a lot of firepower up top which is why we could be in for plenty of goals at the Scotiabank Arena. The over is the best bet on all relevant bookmakers.

Tampa Bay Lightning at New Jersey Devils

  • Tampa Bay Lightning
  • October 30th, 2019, 7:00 pm ET, Prudential Center
  • New Jersey Devils

Tip – While last year’s Presidents’ Trophy winners haven’t been firing on all cylinders yet this season, they have certainly been much better than the abysmal New Jersey Devils. The Devils could be the worst team in the entire NHL and despite playing at home on Wednesday evening, could be in for a really long night against an elite club. The Lightning have also won their last five consecutive games against the Devils heading into this one. Go with the Lightning to win big.

Montreal Canadiens at Vegas Golden Knights

  • Montreal Canadiens
  • October 31st, 2019, 10:00 pm ET, T-Mobile Arena
  • Vegas Golden Knights

Tip – The Montreal Canadiens will be living a nightmare this Halloween having to take on the Vegas Golden Nights at the T-Mobile Arena. Montreal play the Arizona Coyotes on Tuesday night and will be feeling the effects of fatigue playing for the second night in a row against Las Vegas. It also means that we will likely see starting goalie Carey Price rested in favour of Keith Kinkaid. T-Mobile Arena is probably the most difficult building for an opposing team to play in and Montreal will find out why on Wednesday.

Winnipeg Jets at San Jose Sharks

  • Winnipeg Jets
  • November 1st, 2019, 10:00 pm ET, SAP Center
  • San Jose Sharks

Tip – Patrick Marleau looks like he never left San Jose, impressing ever since his return to the Sharks. The window to win is now for the home team who are more than confident in their ability to get it done during the regular season – despite their struggles in the playoffs. Winnipeg did win the only game played at the SAP Center last year between these two teams, but don’t expect that to be the case again this season. The Sharks are a much better hockey team at home than on the road and they should cruise to a victory in this one.

Ottawa Senators at Boston Bruins

  • Ottawa Senators
  • November 2nd, 2019, 7:00 PM ET, TD Garden
  • Boston Bruins

Tip – Ottawa Senator fans were not happy with their team entering the season and early on it is easy to see why. They have barely looked like an NHL team at times and will find it difficult to even competing on most nights in the difficult Atlantic Division. Saturday night will be proof of that when they visit the Stanley Cup finalists at the TD Garden. Boston has beaten Ottawa the last eight consecutive times the two sides have met – with only one of those games going into overtime or a shootout. The Bruins should have no difficulty brushing the Senators aside in front of a raucous home crowd.
