Worcestershire Rapids Moeen Ali’s side went down against Lancashire Lightning in the last game by 25 runs due to some ordinary performance with the ball. They have almost made it to the quarter-finals of the season and would look to further secure their position with a win in the next game. Their top order didn’t do well in the last game with Riki Wessels, Hamish Rutherford and Moeen Ali failing to convert their starts. Ross Whiteley played a great knock towards the end of the innings and the likes of Thomas Charles Fell and Ben Cox have to contribute in the next game. Daryl Mitchell did well with the ball in the last game but the other bowlers were hammered to all parts of the ground. Dillon Pennington, Wayne Parnell, Ali and Patrick Brown need to bowl well in the next game. Notts Outlaws Daniel Christian’s team has sealed its spot in the quarter-final with the 3 run win against Yorkshire Vikings in the last game. Joe Clarke batted well at the top and there were contributions from Jake Libby and Daniel Christian towards the end. The team would want Alex Hales, Ben Duckett and Tom Moores to contribute with the bat in the next game as they fell cheaply in the last game. Matthew Carter and Samit Patel bowled well in the last game and held their nerves towards the end. Going into the next game the side would expect a better show from Luke Wood and Harry Gurney to gain momentum ahead of the knockout stage of the tournament.
