Sheffield Shield 27th Match Squad Comparison

Mathew Wade would have been extremely proud of with the performance of his team in the last game against Victoria. The batsmen held the fort together to play out 100 overs in the 4th innings and draw the game. The fact that it came against the best side of the season would have added to their confidence. As they take on Western Australia in the next game Wade would recall having lost against the opponents earlier in the season. It would be a perfect opportunity to settle things and create an opportunity to qualify for the finals.
Jordan Silk and Alex Doolan played wonderfully well in the 2nd innings of the last game. At No. 3 Charlie Wakim looks extremely strong. Mathew Wade also did well in the last game and having the likes of Jake Doran, Ben McDermott and Sam Rainbird in the lower middle order only adds strength to the batting order. In the last game Jackson Bird and Riley Meredith bowled well. Sam Rainbird and Gabe Bell add variety to the attack and make a pretty strong bowling unit going into the next game.

Western Australia

Mitchell Marsh marked his return to captaincy in the last game with a win over South Australia. The skipper would have been extremely happy with the performance of his batsmen as well as bowlers in what was a competitive game where momentum shifted on many occasion. This win also ended the long drought for the side and would make them confident. Having defeated Tasmania earlier in the season Marsh would want his side to carry the same confidence going into the next game of the season.
Cameron Bancroft and Sam Whiteman did well in the second innings to win it for the side in the last game and would look to provide a good start in the next game. With the likes of Hilton Cartwright, Josh Inglis and Mitchell Marsh in the middle order the team is definitely strong. Matthew Kelly, D’Arcy Short and Josh Philippe complete a strong batting line-up for the side. Matthew Kelly and Liam Guthrie bowled brilliantly in the last game especially Kelly who set up the win for the side. David Moody and Hilton Cartwight also did well and shall want to carry the same momentum in the next game.

Our Prediction for Tasmania vs Western Australia, 27th Match

Tasmania shall win this game
It will be an interesting contest in the next game of Sheffield Shield 2018-19. Hosts Tasmania would take on Western Australia in their home ground Bellerive Oval, Hobart. Only one point separates the two sides at the moment and for both it is a must win situation if they want to keep their hopes alive for earning a place in the final of the season. While Western Australia comes into this game with a win, Tasmania had drawn their last game against Victoria. The side batted the whole of the last day to draw the game.
From a cricket betting logic, there is little to choose between the two sides but Tasmania has a better bowling unit and this would make them favourites for the next game.
