Winning the toss and chasing to bat first, Pakistan lost both the openers quickly and were 2 wickets down for 10 in the 4th over. Babar Azam and Sahibzada Farhan were out for 7 and 1 respectively.

Corey Anderson and Tim Seifert were out for 9 and 0. New Zealand fell 2 runs short of the Pakistan total as Ross Taylor stayed not out on 42 with Tim Southee (5).

Pakistan vs New Zealand 3rd T20I

Pakistan won the toss in the final T20I of the series at Dubai and chose to bat first. After Fakhar Zaman was out for 11 in the 6th over, Babar Azam and Mohammad Hafeez together put 94 runs for the 2nd wicket.

Babar Azam was out for 79 runs and Mohammad Hafeez stayed not out on 53 as Pakistan finished 166-3 in 20 overs.

Chasing 167 runs, New Zealand did not get off to a great start as they would have wished and lost their 1st wicket on 4 runs. Another wicket was down soon on team score of 13.

Glenn Phillips and Kane Williamson added 83 runs for the 3rd wicket and kept New Zealand chase alive. After Williamson was out for 60 at team score of 96, 2 balls later, Glenn Phillips was bowled by Shadab Khan and New Zealand lost 2 set batsmen back to back.

New Zealand innings never recovered after those 2 blows and were wrapped up for 119 runs in the 17th over.

New Zealand lost 6 wickets within 22 runs after the fall of 4th wicket. Shadab Khan picked 3 wickets for Pakistan and was the Top Team Bowler.

Pakistan won the match by 47 runs and the T20I series 3-0. Babar Azam continued his T20I form through-out the series and was again the Top Team Batsman for the most number of times in the series (2).
