Sheffield Shield 26th Match Squad Comparison

New South Wales

Peter Nevill would be extremely happy with the performance of his side in the last game. With two back to back wins they look in great form. The skipper would be impressed with the performance of his bowlers in the last game against Queensland as they won the game for the side after the batsmen had failed to deliver. Having lost to Victoria by an innings and 107 runs earlier in the season it would be the perfect chance for the side to win and grow in confidence.
Daniel Hughes looked in good form in the last game but his opening partner Nick Larkin missed out. The middle order did well especially Kurtis Patterson and Moises Henriques. With Hason Sangla and Nevil in the side they have a strong batting line-up going into this game. Their bowlers were brilliant in the last game especially Trent Copeland and Sean Abbott with the new ball. Moises Henriques and Harry Conway also did well and they will be looking to do well in the next game.

It was another impressive show by Travis Dean and his side in their last game against Tasmania. While the skipper would have wanted to win that game having given his bowlers more than 100 overs to bowl out the opposition he would be happy with the draw as his side dominated the game from the start.  They are comfortably sitting at the top of the points table and almost earned a place in the finals of this season. But the skipper wouldn’t like dropping the guard at this point and would like to win the next game.
Their batting looks good with Marcus Harris in great form. While Dean missed out in the last game he would look to make amends in the upcoming one. Nic Maddinson is looking in incredible form at the moment and so is Will Pucovski who scored a wonderful second innings hundred. Cameron White, Matthew Short and Seb Gotch are in good form and this makes it an incredibly strong batting line-up. The bowlers also did well in the last game. Chris Tremain and Andrew Fekete bowled well with the new ball. Scott Boland was the highest wicket taker and Jon Holland too chipped in with good performance and will hope to carry this momentum into the next game.

Our Prediction for New South Wales vs Victoria, 26th Match

Victoria shall win the game

As the sides meet at the Drummoyne Oval, Sydney, it will be a contest between the top two sides in the points table. Victoria’s batsmen are in great form at the moment while New South Wales are struggling a bit and this might lend Victoria slight edge going into this game. Watch out live betting odds on top betting sites when the mach goes in-play.
