William Porterfield’s side has a huge task at hand with this being a do or die game for the side. With their last game against the Bangladeshi side being washed away the side has to win this one to have a chance of qualifying for the finals. In their first game against the West Indies the side had suffered a huge loss with their bowlers being taken to the cleaners and the batsmen not being able to match up to the challenge. Porterfield would want his team to play their natural game and give a tough fight to the West Indies in the next game.

William Porterfield and Paul Stirling weren’t able to give a good start to their side in the last game as they would have wanted and would need to do well in the next one. In the middle order the side would expect good performances from Andrew Balbirnie, Kevin O Brien and Gary Wilson who had done well in the last game. Lorcan Tucker and George Dockrell would like to be among the runs after missing out in the last game. As far as bowling goes they had a bad day in the last game and would want to do well in the next one. Tim Murtagh, Boyd Rankin, Mark Adair and Joshua Little will have to pick wickets early and get good support from George Dockrell and Barry McCarthy to make it tough for the West Indies

West Indies

Jason Holder would have been unhappy with the performance of his side in the last game against Bangladesh. After having got a good start at the top the middle and the lower middle order batsmen wasted the opportunity to set up a big score on the board in what was a good batting surface. When it came to their bowlers they also failed to keep it tight. As the team prepares for the World Cup 2019 the skipper would want his men to play well against the Irish side once more and make it to the final of the series with a win in in the next game.

Shai Hope looks in brilliant form with back to back hundreds and along with John Campbell will look to offer a good start to the side in the next game. Roston Chase also played well at No. 3. Their middle order struggled in the last game and the likes of Darren Bravo, Jonathan Carter and Holder would look to be among the runs. The side has great firepower in its batting and will have to use their hitting abilities to good effect. Kemar Roach and Shannon Gabriel did well in the last game but the rest of the bowlers were below par with their performance. Sheldon Cottrell, Chase and Holder need to bowl well in the next game for the side.

Our Prediction for Ireland vs West Indies 4th ODI

West Indies will win the 4th ODI

Ireland has a big challenge as they take on West Indies in the next game of the Ireland Tri-Nation Series at The Village, Dublin. A loss here would mean the end of the road for them as far as making it to the final is concerned. They fared poorly against West Indies in the opening game of the series. The West Indian side on the other hand come into this game after having lost the last one against Bangladesh. They let momentum slip out of their hands resulting in the loss. They are likely to come hard in the next game and try to repeat their performance against the Irish side.

On form and skills the side are wide apart and West Indies would definitely start as favourites to win the next game.
