William Porterfield’s side hasn’t been able to win a game so far in the series. Though they had given a scare to the West Indian team in one of the games, barring that the series hasn’t gone as per their expectation. They had batted well in that game to put up a sizable total but their bowlers wasted the opportunity bowling all over the place in that game. With the side out of the finals Porterfield would be looking to grab a consolation win and offer the home crowd something to cheer about in the last game.

It was great batting display by the side in the last game where Paul Stirling and Andrew Balbirnie batted well. There was contribution from Kevin O Brien and Mark Adair towards the end. If the likes of James McCollum and William Porterfield fire the side will do well in the next game. It is their bowlers who are letting the side down. George Dockrell is doing well with the ball but the side would need good performances from Tim Murtagh, Boyd Rankin, Mark Adair and Joshua Little to win the game.

Bangladesh

Mashrafe Mortaza would be extremely happy with the manner in which his side defeated the West Indies in the last game. They have topped the table and already made it to the finals of the series and the next game will serve as a great preparation for the finals as well as the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup. The good thing about the side has been its consistency in this series and Mortaza would hope his side plays to the potential and wins the next game.

In Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar the opening pair looks strong and they have done well in this series so far. Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mohammad Mithun and Mahmudullah make a very strong batting line-up for the side and they have done well in the series so far which will make them very confident in the next game. It is the Bangladeshi bowlers who are setting up the wins for the side in this series. Shakib Al Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman and Mehidy Hasan are in great form with the ball. The side would expect Mortaza and Abu Jayed to pick early wickets with the new ball for them to win the game.

Our Prediction for Ireland vs Bangladesh, 6th ODI

Bangladesh shall win the 6th ODI

Bangladesh has kept the record clean in this series so far and has already made it to the finals. For the hosts Ireland it has been a great learning lesson competing against two top quality sides in the series. Though they haven’t managed to win a game yet some of their players have performed well and impressed the fans. As the two sides meet in the last game of the league phase at Clontarf Cricket Club Ground, Dublin Bangladesh will be looking for a win ahead of the final while the Irish side will look to play for pride and end the series with a victory under their belt.
There is a huge gap in terms of form and performance of the two sides at the moment and this will make Bangladesh favorites to win this encounter
