Highlights of Big Bash League 2018-19

The Grand Finale of the Big Bash League 2018-19 didn’t have quite the spectacle of a slam bang T20 match. In a high pressure game Melbourne Renegades could only put up 145 runs on the board but they ended up defending it successfully and winning the game against Melbourne Stars by 13 runs. It was Melbourne Renegades’ first appearance in the final of the league and they become the 6th team in the league’s history to win the title.
It was so near yet so far in the case of Melbourne Stars who played magnificently and yet need to be content with the runner-up trophy in what was their second appearance in the final after the 2015-16 season of BBL.
