Let’s take a look at the fixtures and the Asia Cup predictions, to know what to expect –
Bangladesh vs India
India defeated Pakistan in the last Group A match quite comfortably and look strong going ahead in the tournament. Bangladesh on the other hand have defeated Sri Lanka in their opening game of Asia Cup 2018, and are riding the wave of confidence.
Bangladesh and India have played 10 matches head to head in the previous Asia Cup editions. India has won 9 of the 10 matches and lost 1 in the 2012 Asia Cup.
India has the edge over Bangladesh and every other team in this tournament for that matter. India’s bowling attack has raised the bar high and the openers are in a great form.
Bangladesh has showed great character in the bowling department. It will be a great contest to see when Bangladesh takes on India on 21st September 2018 at Dubai.
Afghanistan vs Pakistan
Second match of the super four stage on 21st September will be played between Afghanistan and Pakistan at Sheik Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Afghanistan and Pakistan have played 1 Asia Cup match which resulted in Pakistan winning by 72 runs. Pakistan had their wake-up call in the match against India where their batting line up collapsed. If Pakistan don’t get their batting back on track, Afghanistan could well exploit that as they did against Sri Lanka.
One thing is for sure, this match will be a good competition and viewers can expect more than just a one-sided game.
India vs Pakistan
India and Pakistan will lock horns again in the Asia Cup 2018 for the second time on 23rd September 2018 at Dubai. Pakistan suffered a huge loss at the hands of India and it will be interesting to see how the Pakistani side comes back.
Their best batsmen were dismissed early in the innings and that cost them the match. Also, they were deceived by the Indian spin bowling which will be another concern for Pakistan.

Afghanistan vs Bangladesh

Both these teams have defeated Sri Lanka which has surely lifted their spirits and confidence to go ahead in the Asia Cup. Their bowling has been top notch against a solid team like Sri Lanka, and the top order batsmen from both teams have delivered. Afghanistan batting put a team effort with every batsman chipping in some crucial runs at the right time keeping the scoreboard moving against bowlers like Malinga and Thisara Perera.
This will be an exciting match as both teams compete to go into the final.
Afghanistan vs India
Afghanistan and India have played 1 head to head match in Asia Cup 2014 and India won by 8 wickets. India is clearly the favourite to win this match on 25th September at Dubai.

Their players have more experience playing in UAE than the Indian players and will be interesting to see how they take on India.
