West Ham vs Liverpool: Predictions, Betting Tips & Odds
Every game is essentially a final for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side now but away to West Ham has potential to be a pitfall.
The Premier League’s title race has essentially become the world’s most intense game of cat and mouse with Liverpool and Manchester City needing to win every game they play.
The game against West Ham does appear to be a straight forward game for the leaders. However, The Reds will need to proceed with caution as The Hammers have picked up wins against Manchester United and Arsenal at the London Stadium, whilst Chelsea also dropped points.
A potential pitfall they may be, but it’s important to remember just how dominant Liverpool have been this season. They have the second best attack, best defence and the second best home and away records.
The East London club meanwhile have been rather middle of the pack and it’s reflected as they currently reside in 10th place. They have the 10th best attack and the seventh worst defensive record in Premier League.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side may have some confidence going into this game after their win against Arsenal a few weeks ago, but Liverpool are a different breed. With their all-around talent, it’ll be enough to see them through. 2-0 Liverpool.
Liverpool to win to nil
West Ham’s home form is the only the 10th best in the league whilst Liverpool have the second best away form. However it’s Liverpool’s league leading defensive record which makes this bet such an enticing and one that’s been a headache for bookies all season.
Liverpool to win both halves
A far safer bet but for good reason, Klopp’s side are the Premier League leaders and coming up against a middle of the pack side, which they’ve dispensed excellently this season.
