Vorskla vs Arsenal: Predictions, Betting Tips & Odds
Unbeaten Arsenal can all but win the group with victory over Ukrainian side Vorskla, who are still eyeing the faintest of chances of overtaking Sporting into second.
Arsenal head to the Ukraine on a 17-game unbeaten run in all competitions and with qualification to the latter stages already assured.
The Gunners boast a north London derby against bitter rivals Tottenham after the trip to Vorskla and that means Unai Emery is likely to pick a weakened side for the trip to the Butovsky Vorskla Stadium.
That may well open the door for Vorskla as they aim to put some late pressure on Sporting in second who are four points above them.
In fact, there will be few better chances for the home side, but they will have to break a run of three straight defeats in all competitions to achieve it.
However, even with a weakened side, Arsenal still have enough about them to get something out of the game and a draw looks a strong scenario in this game.
Vorskla have lost their two home Europa League games only by a single goal and Arsenal have registered three draws in their last four matches.
A fairly slow affair looks set to take place in the Ukraine with the Gunners happy to settle for a point with bigger things on their mind in a steady 1-1 draw.
Arsenal have made it clear they have taken their foot off the pedal in the Europa League and that was highlighted in the 0-0 draw at the Emirates with Sporting Lisbon.
Unai Emery’s men have already secured passage and face sterner tests in the Premier League but still have enough to avoid defeat in Ukraine and make it five draws from seven games in all competitions.
- The score to be 0-0 at the break
Only two of Arsenal’s eight Europa League goals has come in the first half this season whilst Vorskla have only managed one first half goal in the group stage themselves.

Head to Head
The pair’s meeting at the Emirates in September is to date the one and only prior contest between the two.
An entertaining 4-2 played out in Arsenal’s favour largely thanks to a brace from Pierre Aubameyang.
Mesut Ozil and Danny Welbeck were also on the score sheet for the Gunners as they went 4-0 up before Vorskla hit back with two late goals from Vladimir Chesnakov and Vyacheslav Sharpar.
- Arsenal have never won a game in the Ukraine having lost four and drawn one of their five previous visits.
- Victory will all but secure the top spot in Group E for the Gunners.
- Neither side has ever won the Europa League, but Arsenal did win the 1994 UEFA Cup Winners Cup.
- Vorskla won the Ukrainian Premier League in 2017/18 for only the second time in their history.
- Arsenal are on a seventeen game unbeaten run in all competitions having not lost a game since the 18th August.
