Liverpool vs Fulham: Predictions, Betting Tips & Odds
Liverpool will move to the top of the Premier League table, for a few hours at least, if they beat lowly Fulham at Anfield at lunchtime on Sunday.
Liverpool remain unbeaten in the Premier League this season after a 1-1 draw at the Emirates Stadium last weekend but are now two points behind league leaders Manchester City. Boss Jurgen Klopp will be encouraged that his side have come through matches against the Gunners, Chelsea and Manchester City without tasting defeat. But it was fixtures against less illustrious teams where the Reds came unstuck last season, and Klopp will still be wary of that with this match in mind.
Fulham are in torrid form and the pressure is on boss Slavisa Jokanovic to turn around their fortunes quickly. The Cottagers have already seen their fragile backline ripped apart by Manchester City and Arsenal this season and won’t want to suffer another demoralising thumping.
The form books do seem to point that way, though: we’re going for a 4-0 home win.
- Sadio Mane to score two or more goals
Since returning after missing the middle part of October with a wrist injury, Sadio Mane has taken no time at all to get back into the swing of things at Anfield.
The Senegalese marked his comeback with a goal in the 4-0 win over Red Star Belgrade on Merseyside before grabbing a double against Cardiff City a few days later.
The visit of Fulham marks another great opportunity for him to increase his tally. He’s 3/1 to score at least twice against the Cottagers.
- Liverpool -2
Liverpool haven’t been shy to put teams to the sword at Anfield this season as they overcome the nervousness which plagued them in the previous campaign.
This ruthless streak has seen the Reds beat West Ham United, Southampton, Cardiff City and Red Star Belgrade by at least three goals so far.
Looking at Fulham’s defensive record, they could well be the next name to add to that list. The hosts are a touch under evens to win by at least three goals.

Head to Head
Liverpool won both matches against Fulham in the Cottagers’ last Premier League campaign, 2013/14. Brendan Rodgers’ men won 4-0 at Anfield with Luis Suarez netting a brace.
The Reds have won the last four encounters between the two clubs, scoring 14 goals in the process. The last time Fulham claimed a win at Anfield wasn’t too long ago, though – a fifth minute Martin Skrtel own goal handed Fulham a win in May 2012.
- No Fulham player has scored at Anfield since March 2006 when Collins John found the back of the net in a 5-1 defeat against Liverpool.
- Fulham have the worst defensive record in the Premier League this season.
- The last two meetings between these teams at Anfield have ended 4-0 in favour of Liverpool.
- No team conceded as many goals in their first 10 Premier League matches than Fulham (28).
- Liverpool are unbeaten in their first 11 matches of a Premier League season – the first time that’s happened since the 2007/08 campaign.
