Frosinone vs Juventus: Predictions, Odds and Betting Tips
Juventus aim to maintain their perfect start to the new Serie A season with a trip to struggling Frosinone, who are still without a goal this term.
Despite recording four wins out of four to familiarly establish themselves as the leaders of Italy’s top flight, Massimiliano Allegri’s side have at times found life tougher than perhaps anticipated.
The Old Lady beat Sassuolo 2-1 in their most recent league fixture, Cristiano Ronaldo scoring both of his team’s goals, but their opponents had their share of chances and on another day could have left Turin with a surprise point.
narrow victories over Chievo and Parma, when Juve were expected to win far more comfortably but only prevailed by one goal, further highlight that the Serie A champions are currently some way off their best form.
However, there should be no issues whatsoever for Allegri and co when they travel to face newly-promoted Frosinone.
The match at the Stadio Benito Stirpe is about as close to an away-banker as you can get in top-flight football, with the Canarini looking out of their depth after controversially winning the Serie B play-offs last season.
Moreno Longo’s team have failed to score a single goal in their four League matches this term, losing 4-0 to Atalanta and being on the receiving end of a 5-0 home demolition by Sampdoria last weekend.
And despite Juve still having yet to hit top gear, it is hard to imagine Sunday’s match being anything more than another exercise in keeping the score down for the hosts.
Expect a comfortable 3-0 win for the visitors, who should barely have to get out of second gear to secure a routine victory.
With the outcome of the match seeming so certain before a ball has been kicked, it is perhaps surprising that Juventus winning both halves is odds against.
Frosinone’s blunt attack and porous defence should ensure that this is a safe bet, with the Old Lady likely to be capable of scoring whenever they decide to up the ante.
If Atalanta and Sampdoria were able to score four and five goals against Frosinone respectively, the chances are Juventus could achieve a similar feat.
But with Allegri’s side now involved in the Champions League and unlikely to over-exert themselves, expect a three-goal winning margin.
And given their recent humiliations, Frosinone would probably settle for that.

Head to Head
The sides have only ever met on four previous occasions, with Juve predictably having the better of results.
The Old Lady have won three of the fixtures to date, including a League double during the 2006-07 season, when they spent a year in Serie B.
The Canarini did, however, claim a highly creditable 1-1 draw in Turin early on in 2015/16 – their first ever Serie A campaign.
With four matches played, Juventus are Serie A’s joint top scorers along with Sassuolo.
No player in Italy’s top flight has taken more shots than Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese, however, has missed the target with over half of his attempts.
Only two teams have had fewer shots in Serie A this season that Frosinone. One of them, Sampdoria, beat the Canarini 5-0 last weekend.
