The Cheltenham Festival is one of the most popular horse racing events and it will take place on 13th March 2018, at 13.30 with the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle. There is an array of betting offers at your fingertips, with the likes of William Hill, Stan James, and Paddy Power all offering FREE bets for new accounts. If you have an existing account, there are numerous Cheltenham Festival incentives to choose from, such as non-runner money back bets and best odds guarantees.

Willie Mullins’ Douvan, one of the favourites to win the Queen Mother Champion Chase, has been withdrawn and will miss the rest of the season. However, former Arkle Challenge Trophy winner Altior remains the favourite, with Paddy Power offering early odds of 6/4.

The crown jewel of the meet is the Gold Cup, which takes place on Friday 16th March. Very little splits the top four horses, with the bookies largely seeing eye to eye.

Recent events at Navan have perhaps offered a clue or two for other races at the meet, with Next Destination powerfully winning a Novice Hurdle. Bookmakers were originally offering 14/1 and 16/1, but this price has been brought in all the way to 11/2 by some leading bookmakers. Annamix and Fayonagh should also be in the mix.

Bets aside, the Festival promises to be entertaining as ever, with Ladies Day taking place on Wednesday 14th March, and St. Patrick’s Day following it up on the Thursday. People and horses will be travelling across the world to observe this elite four-day event.

This promises to be a fantastic spectacle.
