Sergio Aguero Set to Lead the Line for Free-Scoring Man City

Sergio Aguero Set to Lead the Line for Free-Scoring Man CityManchester City are aiming to make it 16 games unbeaten when they take on Claude Puel’s Leicester City at the King Power on November 18th and they have talisman Sergio Aguero available for selection. The striker was checked into hospital following reports of feeling faint by has been cleared by medical staff and he could be unleashed against the Foxes.

The 29-year-old has eight Premier League goals to his name so far this campaign including netting from the penalty spot against Arsenal on November 5th. Sporting Bet have priced him up as 3/1 favourite to score the first goal of the game just ahead of teammate Gabriel Jesus, who may start on the bench for the Citizens.

Leicester have made a decent start under their new coach and are unbeaten in six in all competitions but they’ll need to find a way of containing free-scoring City who are averaging over three matches a game in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are back at Old Trafford as they host Newcastle in the 5.30pm kick off on November 18. Paul Pogba has been pencilled in for a return against the Magpies but appears unlikely to overcome his hamstring trouble in time to line up against the Toon. Jose Mourinho’s side can’t afford to drop any more points this season as they chase rivals Manchester City, who have an eight-point advantage at the top of the table.

Newcastle sit in mid-table but lost back-to-back matches heading into the International Break. Rafa Benitez’s men must find a way of bouncing back but their lack of firepower is causing them trouble this campaign. They’ve found the net just 10 times in their opening 11 matches.
