Previewing This Weekend’s Best Premier League Games
Liverpool weren’t in FA Cup action last weekend and have had ample time to prepare for the visit of West Ham on February 24. The Reds were last seen knocking five past FC Porto during a ruthless display in the Champions League. Jurgen Klopp’s side will be aiming to replicate some of that magic when they host mid-table Premier League outfit West Ham. William Hill offer the best price of 1/4 on a Reds success here with Mo Salah and Sadio Mane an intriguing 12/5 and 11/2, respectively, to net two or more goals during the 90 minutes.
The Hammer’s 2-0 success against Watford helped move them comfortably into 12th position and away from any immediate danger, but it’s been a topsy-turvy season for David Moyes’ side. They conceded four times during each of their last two meetings with Liverpool and they are going to have to be defensively disciplined here if they are to keep the scoreline respectable.
Jose Mourinho Desperate Not to Slip Up Against Chelsea
The other standout fixture in the Premier League this weekend sees Jose Mourinho welcome his former employers, Chelsea to Old Trafford on February 25. The Red Devils ran out 2-0 winners during a potentially pivotal clash in the title race last season and the Portuguese coach would be more than satisfied with a similar outcome once again.
Both sides are coming off the back of tough Champions League clashes and it could be a tactical, intriguing but potentially low-scoring affair. Under 2.5 Goals can be backed at 13/20 whilst a correct score of 1-0 Manchester United is available at 6/1.
With Arsenal and Manchester City facing one another in the Carabao Cup final, there are fewer Premier League games this weekend although Crystal Palace vs Spurs and Bournemouth vs Newcastle look the best of the rest in the top flight.
