Previewing Man City vs Swansea

Date: April 22, 2018

Manchester City may have clinched the Premier League title already but there is still plenty to play for this season. There are still five games left and Pep Guardiola will have his eyes on breaking a number of top-flight records. For instance, the Citizens will be hoping to break Chelsea’s record points haul of 95, which was set in the 2004-05 season under Jose Mourinho. There is also a possibility that they could also fire in the most home goals in a single season and, with a relatively easy run of games remaining, there’s a good chance of it happening.

They will begin their record-chasing run with a home match against Swansea and they are expected to take all three points from this clash on April 22nd.

Man City are priced at 1/7 to pick up all three points here and are 8/15 on Betfred’s half-time/ full-time market. Swansea have been in decent form since Carlos Carvalhal took over and they are slowly edging away from the relegation zone. Depending on midweek results, they could start this game with a five-point cushion over the bottom three and their hard-working approach has paid off in recent weeks. They are 3/4 on the +3 handicap and they will be keen to keep their goal-difference respectable in this tie

They are not expected to breach the home defence here and Both Teams to Score? No is priced at 4/6.

David Silva Aiming to Finish with a Flourish

David Silva netted twice when these two sides met at the Liberty Stadium earlier in the season as Man City ran out easy 4-0 winners in South Wales. It’s been an interesting year for the Spaniard, who has missed a number of Premier League games due to the birth of his first child and the talented midfielder will be keen to end the season on a high note. He is 23/10 to score anytime with Betfair and 14/1 to repeat his heroics from their last meeting and net twice during the 90 minutes.
