Previewing Liverpool vs Stoke, Crystal Palace vs Leicester and Swansea vs Chelsea

Date: April 28, 2018

Stoke are in deep trouble at the bottom of the Premier League and the Potters desperately need to bring something back from Anfield. Paul Lambert’s side are in danger of falling back into the Championship and their chronic lack of goals is to blame. Ashley Barnes’ equaliser denied them three points against Burnley and they now have the daunting task of facing Jurgen Klopp’s side. The Reds are priced at 3/10 with William Hill and they are expected to continue their winning run.

Many punters will be keen to take Liverpool -1 on the handicap, which is priced at 7/10.

It finished 3-0 to the Reds when these two sides met at the end of November. Goals are expected once more with Over 2.5 Goals relatively short at 4/9 whilst Over 3.5 Goals is priced at 5/4. There is a high chance of both landing here.

Crystal Palace could do with another point or two in order to ensure their safety in the Premier League. The Eagles battled their way to a point at Vicarage Road on April 21st and Roy Hodgson’s men will fancy their chances against out-of-form Leicester. The Foxes have been in underwhelming form recently and played out a drab 0-0 with Southampton during their last outing. Claude Puel’s side are fairly well-organised and are tough to beat and many have predicted that they will get at least a point from this match.

Leicester to win is priced at 5/2 whilst it’s exactly the same price for the game to end all square.

Can Swansea Keep It Tight Against Chelsea?

The Swans’ survival hopes were dealt a blow on April 22nd as they were hammered at the hands of Manchester City. Carlos Carvalhal’s side need to get back to their defensive best when they host Chelsea at the Liberty.

The Blues have not been at their free-flowing best recently but have beaten Swansea’s relegation rivals Southampton and also edged past Burnley on April 19th. They are narrowly favoured to collect all three points here and can be backed at 8/15.

Betfair are offering 9/4 for Chelsea to win by a 1 goal margin and this would have landed in each of their last three Premier League victories.
