Previewing Everton vs Liverpool, Chelsea vs West Ham and Arsenal vs Southampton

The Merseyside derby is always a competitive affair and the latest meeting between Everton and Liverpool looks set to be a hugely entertaining 90 minutes. The Reds come off the back of a tough Champions League clash with Manchester City but are still expected to three points from this game.

NetBet make Liverpool 4/6 favourites for this match as they take on their out-of-form neighbours. The Toffees were beaten easily by the league leaders on March 31st but Yannick Bolasie’s return to form provided some encouragement and the winger is 5/1 to get on the score-sheet for the second week running.

High-scoring games are always expected when Jurgen Klopp’s side are involved and, once again, there is a high chance of Over 2.5 Goals landing.

Over 2.5 Goals is priced at 4/6 and those who are feeling a little more ambitious may be tempted by Betfair’s 15/8 on Over 3.5 Goals in the game.

Relegation-Threatened Duo Dealt Tough Away Games

It’s becoming scrappy at the bottom of the Premier League table with both West Ham and Southampton desperately fighting for every point. The pair met on March 31st with the Hammers emerging 3-0 winners but the duo both face potentially tricky ties on April 8th.

Despite their involvement in the Europa League just three days earlier, Arsenal are still fancied to see off the Saints. Mark Hughes’ side were sluggish against West Ham and they can’t afford a similarly lethargic performance here.

NetBet have priced up the Gunners as the 4/7 favourites for this tie and, following a comfortable 3-0 success against Stoke on April 1st, a similar outcome can be expected here. An identical scoreline can be backed at 11/1.

David Moyes’ West Ham will be looking to build upon that success at the London Stadium when they make the short trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea. The Blues have been struggling for consistency in recent weeks and slipped up against Spurs on April 1st but they are being predicted to pick up all three points here.

Antonio Conte’s side are 2/7 to return to winning ways and they also look set to have a big say in the Premier League relegation battle as they travel to St.Marys just seven days later.
