Predictions for Leicester vs Arsenal, Chelsea vs Huddersfield and Spurs vs Newcastle

Premier League Week 2

Date: May 9, 2018

Arsenal fans bid farewell to Arsene Wenger at the Emirates on May 6th with the Gunners giving the French boss a perfect send-off courtesy of a 5-0 victory over Burnley. They will now be hoping for a similar performance against Leicester at the King Power. These two sides met on the opening day of the season and played out a seven-goal thriller. The North London side were victorious that day and they are expected to do the double over the Foxes.

Arsenal’s away form has been atrocious this season but they are facing a side who are dreadfully out-of-form. Claude Puel appears to have lost the dressing room and his future with the club has been cast into doubt. Arsenal are priced up as the 5/6 favourites with Betfred and they should be backed to pick up a rare away success here.
Leicester have lacked goals in recent weeks and they are expected to struggle in the final third once again. Under 2.5 Goals is favoured and can be backed at 6/4.

Huddersfield picked up a vitally important point at the Etihad on May 6th and, if they can secure anything against Chelsea, another season of Premier League football is all-but-assured. Going to Stamford Bridge won’t be easy and they face a Blues side who kept a clean sheet against Liverpool during their last match here.
Antonio Conte’s side are expected to collect three points against the Terriers and are priced at 1/5. Huddersfield could make life difficult for the hosts and a greater price can be found by backing Draw/Chelsea on the HT/FT market at 3/1 with Betfred.

Spurs Fancied for Wembley Success Against Newcastle

Spurs host Newcastle on May 9th with Mauricio Pochettino’s side expected to pick up another three points at Wembley. The Toon Army were defeated at Vicarage Road on May 5th and some of their players already appear to be on the beach.
The hosts were defeated against West Brom during their most recent Premier League game and they need to bounce back here. Spurs can be backed at 2/9 for this tie whilst it’s 4/7 for a home win with Over 2.5 Goals in the game.

Harry Kane is still chasing the Golden Boot and he is 2/1 to be the first goalscorer in this game.
