Match Predictions and Preview for Liverpool vs Brighton and Man Utd vs Watford

Premier League Week 2

Date: May 13, 2018

Liverpool have drawn two consecutive blanks in the Premier League coming into this fixture. The Reds have understandably been distracted by their passage to the Champions League final but alarmingly, they failed to get on the scoresheet against both Stoke and Chelsea. Despite their troubles in front of goal, they are expected to end the season with three points at Anfield and cap off a memorable season in Merseyside. Jurgen Klopp’s men are priced at 1/6 with 888Sport.

This is just the fourth meeting between the two teams with the Reds putting six past the Seagulls at the beginning of December. In each of their three previous encounters, both sides have managed to get on the scoresheet. It is expected to be a different story this time around with this fixture anticipated to have a distinctly end-of-season feel about it. It’s 5/8 for Both Teams to Score, whilst it’s 4/5 with Ladbrokes for Liverpool to win without conceding.

The Seagulls have struggled for goals this season but Pascal Gross’ winner against Manchester United ensured they maintained their Premier League status with a couple of games to spare.

Hornets Expected to Continue Their Barren Run on the Road

Watford have improved under the guidance of Javi Gracia, but their away day woes have shown no signs of easing. The Hornets haven’t found the net on the road since the beginning of January and they drew yet another blank against Spurs during their last away trip.

Life doesn’t get any easier for the Hertfordshire outfit who must end the season with a trip to Old Trafford. They are deemed unlikely to end the campaign with three points.

The Red Devils are priced at 2/9 for this match and will be expected to end the season on a high. Ladbrokes are also offering 6/5 for the hosts to Win to Nil.

Both Teams to Score is available at 19/20 and with United’s terrific record of keeping clean sheets at home, Watford could struggle to find a route to goal here.
