With the Premier League voting to close the window early this year, deadline day will be on the 9th of August, while the rest of Europe will close the window on 3rd September. This will mean that Premier League teams cannot add any new additions following the close of the window on Thursday, 9th August. However, European clubs can still buy players from the Premier League until 3rd September.

With this being the first window where the Premier League is closing before the rest of the European leagues, it will be interesting to see how many Premier League teams allow players to leave following the early close of the window as they will not be able to bring in a replacement. This will likely be the time managers look to offload the wages of players who are surplus to requirements.
