Champions League Quarter Final Second Leg Preview – April 10th-11th

Date: April 10th-11th

As we approach the business end of the season, this week will see 4 teams book their place in the Champions League Semi Final an edge closer to a final berth in Kiev.

Man City vs Liverpool – April 10th

Man City VS Liverpool

All eyes will be on the Etihad this week for the potential tie of the round as Man City look to overcome a 3 – 0 deficit against Liverpool. Few would have predicted Liverpool’s romping victory prior to kick off last week, but equally, few would write off City at this point. Pep may have overlooked as his side suffer rare defeats in both domestic and European competitions away to Liverpool this season but will look to their previous 5 – 0 home victory over the Red’s as they aim to overcome the tie.

Roma vs Barcelona – April 10th

Roma VS Barcelona

Roma may have a mountain to climb following their 4 – 1 loss to the Catalan giants last week, but will hope to build on their impressive record of not conceding at home in the Champions League this season. Unfortunately for Roma, Messi has warmed up for the tie with a hattrick on his last outing and will look to build on his record of 39 goals in all competitions.

Bayern Munich vs Sevilla – April 11th

Bayern VS Sevilla

If you only look at the numbers, this tie is one of the closest in the Quarter Final second round, however when you consider the fact that Bayern haven’t lost at home this season, it would be hard to look past the German giants in this game. Bayern secured the Bundesliga title this weekend and will look to build on that with a convincing home victory against Sevilla on Wednesday.

Real Madrid vs Juventus – April 11th

Real Madrid VS Juventus

Real Madrid take a convincing 3 – 0 lead into the Quarter Final second round, but Zinedine Zidane’s men will keep all eyes on the ball to ensure they don’t overlook the team from Turin in the return leg. Juventus will have to look to their domestic form in this game which has seen them score 3 or more goals in no less than 5 Serie A matches this season.
