Barcelona vs Internazionale: Predictions, Odds and Betting Tips
Barcelona and Inter may not be the match up it once was, but there’s always plenty to digest when these two face off in the Champions League.
After match day two the only way to separate these sides in the group is by goal difference. Both teams have 100% records in the Champions League this season and they’re both favourites to qualify from the group unsurprisingly.
Barcelona’s recent league form has been shaky, winning none of their last four games and only two of their last six.
After a shaky start to the Serie A season, Inter have managed to kick-start their season with five wins in their last six games as they now sit in third place.
From a stylistic standpoint, this is an easy game to predict. As it’s Barcelona playing at the Nou Camp, you can expect a complete and utter onslaught towards Samir Handanovic and Inter’s defence during this game.
The key to this one will be whether Inter Milan can successfully counter attack. If you’re not able to relieve pressure off your defence by progressing the ball forward, then you most likely stand no chance against Barcelona’s attacking quality.
It’s no easy task to defend and attempt to counter for 90 minutes on the Nou Camp pitch, but Barcelona are in questionable form so a 2-1 Barcelona win looks likely to be in the offing.
- Barcelona and both teams to score
Ernesto Valverde turned Barcelona into a fantastic defensive team last season, but they’ve regressed a lot this season. A Barcelona win is still likely but it may not be easy for Messi and co.
- Inter Milan +1 handicap result
If Barcelona’s recent league form is enough to put you off betting on them then consider Inter at least snagging a draw at a fantastic price. If it all clicks for the Italians, then they can at least match Barca over one game.
