Arsenal look to keep their very impressive run going against a Leicester side that have been up and down all season.

Unai Emery was told that his new club were in crisis after two games but now he is really getting the best from his squad who have even nudged into the top four in the Premier League. The side look content – Aaron Ramsey apart – and seem to be taking on their coach’s style of play well.

Claude Puel will have more concerns about his Leicester City side who have not been able to put a good run of results together so far this season. A defeat at home to Everton just before the international break left them in mid table and it is difficult to see how that will change.

Arsene Wenger didn’t seem to think that they could play together but Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have really clicked this season and look very dangerous thanks to an impressive attacking midfield supporting cast.

A bright spot for Leicester has been the form of new boy James Maddison. A summer signing from Norwich City, the midfielder has not looked out of place in the Premier League and his fine performances have been rewarded with a call up to the England national squad. He may not be able to help stop his side losing at the Emirates though as Arsenal should win this with ease, with 2-0 a decent shout.

  • Over 2.5 goals and only one team to score

Arsenal are starting to look like they are really enjoying their football for the first time in a while and could score a few against a Leicester City side who are struggling for form.

  • Arsenal to win by two goals

The home side will be big favourites for this one should score a few goals in the process of getting three points.

Head to Head

Both sides won their home games in this fixture last season with Arsenal scoring two goals in the final ten minutes to eventually run out 4-3 victors at the Emirates. Alexandre Lacazette opened the scoring after just two minutes.

  • Wes Morgan will not be available for the visitors after he picked up his second red card in just four matches in their most recent fixture against Everton.
  • Arsenal’s double pronged attack has been rewarded with both their strikers – Lacazette and Aubameyang – featuring in the goal scorers top ten.
  • Even with their mixed results Leicester City have still been able to find the net and sit seventh in the goals scored table with 14.
  • The Gunners have scored 19 Premier League goals this season – only Manchester City have scored more.
