West Ham vs Tottenham: Predictions, Odds and Betting Tips

London Stadium, London
A fierce London rivalry continues as West Ham entertain Tottenham Hotspur at the London Stadium.
West Ham’s awful start to the season had seemingly turned a corner before their defeat to Brighton and they will be confident that Spurs are there for the taking even considering their position in the Premier League. The home side’s new players have finally started to gel into the side and Marko Arnautovic consistently looks a threat up front.
Harry Kane has scored three times in his last five appearances for Spurs but looked out of sorts against Cardiff in their last match before the international break. The England captain may be tired from playing so many matches during the calendar year but Tottenham need their talismanic captain back to his best if they are to challenge this year.
After four successive defeats at the start of the season West Ham have crept up to 15th in the table with impressive displays against Chelsea and Manchester United recently. The loss to Brighton was a disappointment but Manuel Pellegrini will be pleased that his side are starting to look like they could do quite well this season.
Spurs have only lost two games this season but there is a feeling that the side just are not quite clicking as of yet. Many of their victories have been against some of the weaker sides in the division and although they have beaten Manchester United at Old Trafford they were unable to beat Liverpool at home. If West Ham play well this could be a tough game for Tottenham and a draw could be the best bet, with 1-1 in the offing.
- The draw
Spurs are understandably favourites in this one but on their day West Ham can be a handful for anyone. The draw represents good value here.
- Harry Kane to score at anytime
If Spurs get the ball in the back of the net in a match then it is likely that their captain will be on the score sheet. Harry Kane may not have looked in the same kind of form as last season yet but he has a favourable record against West Ham and could well grab a goal at the London Stadium.

Head to Head
Both these sides have not exactly enjoyed their home matches over the last few seasons due to ground changes. Spurs won at the London Stadium last season but drew at home in the league and lost at Wembley in the EFL Cup.
- Marko Arnautovic has grabbed a goal in every game West Ham have scored in this season and is an obvious goal threat against Tottenham.
- Spurs have scored in every single Premier League game this season and have won their last three matches.
- Lukasz Fabianski has made the most saves in the Premier League this season with 36. An unimpressive looking defence has contributed to this statistic.
- Along with his five Premier League goals Harry Kane has also seen the yellow card on three occasions.
