Watford and Wolves meet at Wembley this Sunday for their FA Cup Semi-Final at 11:00 Am.

Predictions

Watford lost 2-1 to Manchester United in the Premier League on the weekend and have a league game at home with Fulham coming up on Tuesday night – The Hornets have lost three of their last five league matches but they were all away from home.

Wolves also lost their last game 2-0 away to Burnley and have a midweek clash at home with Manchester United on Tuesday – Wanderers have won just one of their last six Premier League games, which was a 2-0 win at home over Cardiff.

Watford knocked out Crystal Palace in the Quarter Finals of the FA Cup when winning 2-1 at Vicarage Road – a 1-0 victory over QPR in the fifth round was preceded by two 2-0 wins away to Woking and Newcastle in the early rounds that put them on the road to Wembley.

Wolves knocked out Liverpool in the third round of the FA Cup when they won at home 2-1 before needing a replay to put finally putting Shrewsbury to the sword 3-2 after the first game ended 2-2 – a 1-0 win away to Bristol City in the fifth round set up a Quarter Final clash with Manchester United at Molineux in which Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men were dispatched 2-1. A 2-1 win for Wolves is an interesting option.

Betting Tips

Wolves to win

This is a massive game for both sides looking to reach a final for the first time in years and it’s difficult to separate the teams on paper.

Total goals over 2.5

Both these sides are lethal on the counter attack and it will be interesting to see if the game is an open affair or whether they will be set up a little more tactically, keeping things tight at the back.
