St. Louis Blues vs Vegas Golden Knights: Predictions, Odds and Betting Tips
Thursday, November 1st, 8:00 pm Eastern Time
The St. Louis Blues look to improve their abysmal home record when the Vegas Golden Knights come to town on Thursday evening.
The St. Louis Blues have been terrible in front of their own fans this season, already losing five games on home ice. Vegas hasn’t been the greatest road team this season either though and are no lock against the Blues – especially considering that St. Louis will be well rested ahead of their date with the Golden Knights. The Blues will not have been in action since their win at home against the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday night while Vegas on the other hand, will have played two additional games against the Ottawa Senators and Nashville Predators before heading to St. Louis. As a result, we could see the Golden Knights quite fatigued against the Blues.
St. Louis put up a touchdown against the aforementioned Blackhawks in their last outing and seem to have finally found a way to fill the void of losing Paul Statsny. They have managed to score at least four goals in their last five games. The problem though, is their defence has been atrocious and the club have not won a game all season without scoring at least four goals. Vegas has been quite the opposite, only hitting the four-goal mark once this season and will be hoping to keep the score line down as they look to impose their brand of hockey on the road. Even with starting goalie Marc-Andre Fleury expected to get the start in net for the Golden Knights, we could very well see a high-scoring affair on Thursday night.
- St. Louis to win in regulation
While St. Louis hasn’t been great at home, the Golden Knights also haven’t looked like the team that went to the Stanley Cup finals last year.
- Over 6 goals
St. Louis can’t seem to stop scoring at the moment and Fleury could be in for a long night in net for the Golden Knights.
Head to Head
The Vegas Golden Knights won two of their three games against the St. Louis Blues last season, except the one game played in St. Louis.

- The St. Louis Blues scored at least seven goals in a game against the Chicago Blackhawks for the first time since January 12, 2004 with their recent 7-4 victory.
