The 2021 PGA Tour continues this week with the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. For golf lovers, it doesn’t get any better than a good tournament to kick off the weekend. The Zurich Classic is a bit of an oddball for a PGA tournament. Revised in 2017, it consists of 80 two-person teams of golfers. So instead of betting on a single golfer like in most other PGA tournaments, you’ll be laying your money down on a team of two players. Anything can happen in these golf tournaments, so it’s crucial to stay in the loop at all times. There are many awesome sports betting sites, but Sports Interaction has the best updated odds for the 2021 Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Sports Interaction also boasts one of the best betting apps so that you can stay up-to-date as lines and odds move for the upcoming tournament. The upcoming Zurich Classic will be played in TPC Louisiana, a par 72 golf course, with the par-5 18th hole being the main attraction. Due to COVID-19, the 2020 tournament was canceled. Therefore the 2019 winners, John Rahm and Ryan Palmer, are still the reigning champions and are a strong favorite to repeat this year. Rahm and Palmer are listed at +617 odds, but Top 10 players Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay are slightly favored over the reigning champion at +614. After that, we’ve got Australian pros Marc Leishman and Cameron Smith at +900, Bubba Watson and Scottie Scheffler at +1200, and Collin Morikawa and Matthew Wolff also at +1200. Morikawa and Wolff have attracted a lot of attention and are believed to be a solid pick to win this year’s Zurich Classic. Morikawa, in particular, has made waves in the golf world since winning the PGA Championship at just 24 years old. Wolff is only 22 years old, but he’s shown a lot of promise in past tournaments and is an excellent complimentary player to Morikawa. It’s really anyone’s game, and odds are constantly in flux, so check out the Sports Interaction review for a look at all updated odds for the 2021 Zurich Classic. The action is set to tee off on Thursday, April 22, 2021.
