Bet365 is arguably Canada’s best-known sports betting operator. It’s the ideal website for someone just starting in betting, because it is easy to sign-up, and easy to navigate. It also offers a ton of great markets perfect for the Canadian sports bettor, from hockey betting to basketball and everything in between. I’ve enjoyed using Bet365, as the entire process has been self-explanatory, and as simple as possible. While the bonuses and promotions are solid, it’s not a driving appeal of this site. In this review, I’ll break down what I’ve enjoyed about Bet365, what I haven’t, and the various perks it offers bettors. Let’s get to it!

I’ve found Bet365 to be a platform that works very well for what I’m looking for from a betting site. However, like every other betting site out there, it has its strengths and weaknesses. Here they are.

✔️Bet 365 Strengths

• Easy to Deposit: The deposit process is extremely easy. There are no delays, and the information required is just the basics. While the withdrawal process is more complex than the deposit process, I found it easier than the typical betting site, and the money got into my account after a few days.
• Simple Layout makes for a quick Adaption: There’s never that feeling of being out of your depth with this operator. I am a sports bettor primarily, and on some betting sites, I am completely overwhelmed. Bet365 has a layout that is easy to understand, visually moderate, and doesn’t hit you with graphics or bright colours that make the page harder to look at.
• Tons of Betting Options: Bet365 has pretty much anything I’d want to bet on, and much more. While I’ll discuss the one exception to that in the weakness section, for the most part, Bet365 has a litany of great options for fans of just about every sport.
• Fast Payout: Compared to many other operators where the withdrawal process is a hassle that can end up taking over a week, the payout on Bet365 is fast and simple.

❌Bet 365 Weaknesses

• Lack of Calling Contact Support: When I have a problem on a betting site, I want to handle it right away. The best way to do that is to call the bookmaker and have a customer service representative walk you through it. Bet365 currently doesn’t have this calling service. While they do have a 24/7 chat available and email, that can’t replace the value of actually talking to someone in my opinion.
• Prop Bets Not Overly Extensive: One type of gambling that I enjoy, is player props. Bet365 does offer these, although sometimes they are limited. What I mean by that is there won’t be props for certain players in certain categories, which can be frustrating. As well, special props on the Super Bowl or big events like that are a ton of fun, and Bet365 doesn’t have the high-volume options of these that other sites do.
• Promotions for Existing Customers not up to Highest Industry Standards: This one is less impactful for me, as I don’t love promotions as some other bettors do, but it is relevant to note that Bet365 doesn’t provide a ton of new promotions for existing customers. They still offer promotions, but many websites are constantly adding and modifying new promotions based on big sporting events or days of the year, and that isn’t the same case with Bet365 .

📋Conclusion

Overall, it depends on what you’re looking for in a gambling website whether you’ll love Bet365 or not. It has a great layout, is easy to sign up and withdraw/deposit, and has all the markets one could want. If you place a huge emphasis on promotions or certain prop features, you might be disappointed, but for the most part, I love Bet365 and think the average bettor would too.

For making a deposit and withdrawal, options are limited. This might bother some people who rely on cryptocurrency or other digital options, but I’m primarily a basics guy, so as long as they take deposits from debit/credit cards, I’m good. With withdrawals, money can be wire transferred to your bank, which works with me. I know a lot of people don’t use typical banking options, so if these don’t work with you, Bet365 might not be the right betting site.

Bet365 has all the typical markets and betting types you could want. Parlays, futures, props, and much more. However, the props are slightly limited compared to what other sites have, but they still are very solid, and the typical bettor won’t find much to complain about with the markets and bet types available. The odds are all very similar to every other betting site. As I mentioned before, Bet365’s customer support isn’t great. They don’t have an active call line, which is what I would normally look for if there is a problem. However, they do have a 24/7 chat line that serves the same purpose, albeit less effectively.

The mobile app for Bet365 is perfect. I love betting on the go, and having a good app is important to me. Bet365 manages to perfectly bring the sportsbook experience to a mobile format.

Bet365 isn’t known for the bonuses that it has available, aside from a Welcome Bonus that we already talked about. Bet365 does still have some promotions, although they primarily aren’t connected to major sporting events or seasonal holidays like most betting sites. Here are a couple of different promotions Bet365 does have to offer.

MLB/NBA/Soccer Early Payout

This works if a team is up by a certain margin, then the bet will automatically cash, no matter the final result. For example, with the NBA, if the team you placed a Moneyline bet on goes up by 20, your bet will hit no matter what. Even if your team ends up losing the game, the bet cashes because your team went up 20. This is only for Moneyline bets, not the point spread. With the MLB, the point to hit is 5 runs ahead, then the bet will settle in your favour.

Bore Draw Money Back

If a soccer game ends 0-0, eligible bettors get their money back. If you place a full-time/half-time, correct score, or Scorecast bet on any soccer game, and the game ends 0-0 and your bet loses, the money will be returned to your account. This promotion only happens if you’ve placed your bet before the game, as live bets will not result in returned money. As well, if you’ve cashed out, then whatever happens after is irrelevant so you won’t receive this benefit.

Parlay Bonus

Bet365 will add a percentage of up to 70% on winning parlays for eligible bettors, depending on the number of bets placed in the parlay. For this bet, you need to be betting on an American or Canadian sports league, placing a parlay on one of these categories: Spread, Game Totals, 1st/2nd Half Spread, and 1st/2nd Half Total. How this works is that the additional bonus they pay out is based on how many legs the winning parlay was. For two legs, the additional winning will be 5%, and it ascends all the way to 14-legged parlays receiving a 70% bonus. If you hit a 14-legged parlay you’ve already received a massive payout, but an additional 70% won’t hurt. Some of the terms of this promotion is that the bonus will not be received if placed with bet credits, cashing out will not result in a payout, and bets using alternate spreads will not result in a payout.

Much like the sports betting promotions, the casino promotions are also a little limited in scope. That doesn’t mean that they don’t have anything available, but if you’re prioritizing a website that has a large number of constantly changing casino promotions for the website you use, Bet365 may not be the right operator for you.

Cashing out is based on the status of your bet, and you can either recoup a smaller portion of the initial bet, or a smaller portion of potential winnings, depending on how likely it appears your bet will hit.

Bet365 provides a live streaming service so you can watch certain sporting events that you’ve bet on. You can’t watch every game, and only certain eligible customers can do this, but live streaming helps if you don’t have the game on TV. Bet365 primarily streams racing events, domestic soccer leagues, and Grand Slam tennis, which you can find by seeing a play button beside a game. It is the perfect way to follow along with a bet on the site and gives you access to a ton of sporting events.

Bet365 has all the expected sports leagues and plenty of unexpected ones. I’m personally a conventional gambler, meaning you’re not going to find me placing bets on sports I don’t follow, but Bet365 has so many options that fans of just about any sport will be happy. Bet365 is pretty much in line with other mainstream betting websites, in that if you’re a typical Canadian sports fan, chances are you’ll have everything you want available.
