Poulter Forces his Way into the Masters

Poulter Forces his Way into the Masters

Poulter Fights Back

Ian Poulter was mistakenly told that if he made the quarter-final of the WGC-Dell Match Play, he would qualify for the Masters. Poulter made the quarter-finals, only to be informed he hadn’t done enough to play at Augusta. Some last minute number crunching showed Poulter wasn’t in the top 50 of the official world rankings.

The only other option on the table was to win the Houston Open to earn a Masters invite. You can never quite write Poulter off. He won the event and now Betway has the Englishman at 50/1 to win a Green Jacket.

Bet on the 2018 Masters Tournament with Bodog

Poulter’s Masters Chances

The European Ryder Cup stalwart is one of the outside favourites for the 2018 Masters. He comes in with exceptional form but so does Rory McIlroy who Bodog have as favourite at 10/1. Poulter will have his work cut out for him with Tiger Woods now also back in contention. Sports Interaction has Woods at 12/1 to win the event.

Shaping up to be a Classic

The storylines going into the 2018 Masters are mouthwatering. They have golf fans counting the minutes until the action gets underway on the fifth of April 2018. Most golf betting bookies don’t have Poulter as favourite. However, they wouldn’t have had him as favourite for the Houston Open. Poulter will be out to complete mission impossible and win a Green Jacket.
