Ottawa Senators at Dallas Stars

  • Ottawa Senators
  • October 21st, 2019, 8:30 pm ET, American Airlines Arena
  • Dallas Stars

Tip – The Ottawa Senators have gotten off to another poor start and it could prove to be a very long season for a team that seems to be in real turmoil. Visiting Dallas on Monday evening certainly won’t help, even though the Stars haven’t been very good to start the campaign either. However, Ottawa will be in the middle of a difficult road trip and could really struggle at the American Airlines Arena. Go with Stars to get the job done at home on all relevant betting sites.

Toronto Maple Leafs at Boston Bruins

  • Toronto Maple Leafs
  • October 22nd, 2019, 7:00 pm ET, TD Garden
  • Boston Bruins

Tip – The Boston Bruins have eliminated the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round of the playoffs for the last two years, so we can expect to see a motivated Toronto side on Tuesday evening. The problem is that they will be playing the second half of a back-to-back after facing the Columbus Blue Jackets in Toronto the night before. TD Garden is always a difficult place to play but given the circumstances it will be even harder for the Maple Leafs to escape with two points. Even if Frederik Andersen does start in net for the visitors, they still have quite the daunting task ahead of them. Go with the home side to earn a big two points.

Vegas Golden Knights at Chicago Blackhawks

  • Vegas Golden Knights
  • October 22nd, 2019, 8:30 pm ET, United Center
  • Chicago Blackhawks

Tip – The Vegas Golden Knights are legitimate Stanley Cup contenders but will be in tough in Chicago playing the Blackhawks a night after taking on the Flyers in Philadelphia. Vegas has the depth to handle playing on consecutive nights, but have always been a much better team at home than on the road. Chicago will have great odds and will be worth laying money on.

Pittsburgh Penguins at Tampa Bay Lightning

  • Pittsburgh Penguins
  • October 23rd, 2019, 8:00 pm ET, Amalie Arena
  • Tampa Bay Lightning

Tip – An exciting Eastern Conference showdown will see two of the league’s elite teams go head-to-head in Tampa Bay on Wednesday night. The Lightning have been far from the record-setting Presidents’ Trophy winners from last year but have gotten important victories in big games already. The home side will be fired up for this one as they look to prove a point to the Penguins and the rest of the conference that they are still the real deal. Go with the Lightning and the over.

Anaheim Ducks at Colorado Avalanche

  • Anaheim Ducks
  • October 26th, 2019, 9:00 pm ET, Pepsi Center
  • Colorado Avalanche

Tip – The Colorado Avalanche may have traded some defensive firepower during the offseason in the likes of Tyson Barrie, but Nazim Kadri certainly helps them up front and makes them a more well-rounded hockey team. They came into the campaign with high expectations and have shown why early on. Anaheim has also looked terrific to start the season as well, proving they can be a real threat in the Western Conference. Playing the Avalanche in Colorado will be a real test for them. However, the smart money is on the home side to keep the good times rolling.

Anaheim Ducks at Vegas Golden Knights

  • Anaheim Ducks
  • October 27th, 2019, 8:00 PM ET, T-Mobile Arena
  • Vegas Golden Knights

Tip – It only gets tougher for Anaheim as they travel from Colorado to Las Vegas to take on the Golden Knights on Sunday evening. T-Mobile Arena has been the most difficult arena to play in since Vegas joined the NHL and the Ducks will likely find that out the hard way during the second game of their weekend back-to-back. Marc-Andre Fleury continues to prove why he is one of the best goalies in the entire league and may be busy in this one. Don’t expect too many goals to get past him though and we will likely see a real low scoring affair.
