Stadio San Paolo
Napoli welcome Arsenal to the San Paolo for this Europa League quarter-final second leg with the Gunners bringing a two-goal lead to Italy with them.
Napoli had a comfortable 3-1 win over Chievo in Verona in Serie A on the weekend and Coach Carlo Ancelotti used that game as a warm up for this tie with Arsenal by trying out a new striking formation. They had previously lost to lowly Empoli 2-1 and drew 1-1 with ten-man Genoa in the games preceding this weekend.
Arsenal have a game with Watford on Monday night leaving them just two days to prepare for their trip to Naples. Prior to that they lost 1-0 to Everton but had won their previous three game sin a row, although those games were all played at home.
Napoli dropped into the Europa League when they finished behind Paris Saint Germain and Liverpool in the Champions League group stage – they then knocked out FC Zurich and Red Bull Salzburg along the way to the quarter-final. The Azzurri were lacklustre and sloppy in possession in the first leg at the Emirates Stadium and found themselves two goals down before half-time. The Azzurri will have to come out early in this game to try pull back the two-goal deficit.
Arsenal topped their Europa League group ahead of the likes of Sporting Lisbon, Vorskla, and Qarabag, they then went on to knock out Bate Borisov and Rennes on their way to the quarter-final stage. A 3-1 win for Napoli is well worth a punt.
A Napoli win is available
Arsenal have lost to both Bate and Rennes in their away legs in the Europa League knock out rounds and have a poor record on the road this season.
Total goals over 3.5
Napoli have to score at least two goals to level the tie up and they will have to go all out from the start, while Arsenal will know that if they score at least one goal the tie will be in their hands.
