Tip – The new golden boy of the NFL, Pat Mahomes, gets his first real test as a starting QB. Jacksonville hasn’t given up more than 234 yards passing in any game this season. Mahomes will have his moments, but Jacksonville’s defense and rushing attack will keep the game close.

ATL Falcons (+3) at PIT Steelers (-3)

ATL Falcons +3 | KC Chiefs -3

Tip – The Falcons have been slightly edged out on the scoreboard two weeks in a row, after going toe-to-toe with two of the best offenses in football. For all the high-profile names, Pittsburgh does not belong in that category. The Steelers secondary has been abysmal, and will struggle to defend Atlanta’s 3-headed monster at wide receiver.

GB Packers (-1.5) at DET Lions (+1.5)

GB Packers -1.5 | DET Lions +1.5

Tip – The Lions may be coming off a loss, but they seem to be finding their stride. Rookie running back Kerryon Johnson should continue his rise to prominence against a Green Bay defense that has surrendered 5.1 ypc to opposing teams’ leading rushers. Aaron Rodgers has also seemed just slightly off since injuring his knee in week 1.

BAL Ravens (-3) at CLE Browns (+3)

BAL Ravens -3 |  CLE Browns +3

Tip – Baker Mayfield had his moments a week ago, and has already done more with his surrounding cast than Tyrod Taylor would have been able to. Still, Cleveland’s defense gave up 45 points and nearly 440 yards passing a week ago. This week may not bode well either, as they face John Brown, who averages an absurd 22.5 ypr on the season.

LA Rams (-7) at SEA Seahawks (+7)

SEA SeahawksSEA Seahawks

LA Rams 7SEA Seahawks +7

Tip – The Rams seem unstoppable at the moment. Jared Goff is coming off one of the best games I’ve seen from a QB in years. Seattle struggled with a winless Cardinals team a week ago. This isn’t the hard-nosed divisional matchup it was a few years ago. The Rams have too much talent.

WAS Redskins (+6.5) at NO Saints (-6.5)

WAS Redskins +6.5 | NO Saints -6.5

Tip – Besides a dud in week 2 vs. Indianapolis, Washington averages an impressive 27.5 ppg on the season. This game will be closer than many expect. The Saints had their struggles a week ago vs. the Giants, and this week they face off against a defense that has surrendered the second least ppg in the NFL.
