NE PatriotsNE Patriots (-13.5)

Tip- Since Sam Darnold has returned to the starting lineup, the Jets have been a tough outing for any team. New York is just 1-2 over the last three weeks, but have lost those two games by an average of just 6.5 points. The Pats haven’t had a pretty win in nearly a month. The Pats will escape victorious, but will likely continue with their struggles against the Jets, a team that always puts up a fight vs. New England.

DAL Cowboys (+5.5) at NY Giants (-5.5)

NY GiantsNY Giants (-5.5)

Tip – New York comes in as a surprise 5.5-point favorite amongst the popular betting sites. The Cowboys were shutout two weeks ago, but they are still an impressive 6-1 over their last seven games. Odell Beckham has been ruled out once again, while Saquon Barkley has hit a slump over the past two weeks, averaging just 2.1 ypc over that span. Saquon will likely not see much of a bump in those statistics vs. the Cowboys and their 5th ranked run defense.

JAX Jaguars (+6.5) at HOU Texans (-6.5)

JAX JaguarsJAX Jaguars (+6.5)

HOU TexansHOU Texans (-6.5)

Tip – The Texans have struggled as of late. Their score differential over the last three games averages out to just four points, regardless of the winner. Since returning from the bye week, the Jags have lost by an average of just 3.25 points in four of their five loses. Blake Bortles returns under center for Jacksonville this week, and while he has his flaws, his grittiness and talent when compared to Cody Kessler should be enough to keep the Jags within 6.5 points.

PHI Eagles (-6.5) at WAS Redskins (+6.5)

PHI EaglesPHI Eagles (-6.5)

WAS RedskinsWAS Redskins (+6.5)

Tip – Saint Nick will look to keep the holiday cheer going a little longer in Philadelphia. An Eagles win this week, combined with a Vikings loss, will catapult the reigning champs into the playoffs. The ‘Skins have been abysmal since Alex Smith went down. Foles dropped 32 points on the 6th ranked scoring defense a week ago, so he should see similar success against a team that has surrendered 25+ points in four of their last five games, and 28+ points in three of those games.

CLE Browns (+5.5) at BAL Ravens (-5.5)

CLE BrownsCLE Browns (+5.5)

Sunday 12/30 4:25 PM (ET),
M&T Bank Stadium

BAL RavensBAL Ravens (-5.5)

Tip – The Browns will be looking to spoil Baltimore’s playoff dreams come Sunday evening. The Browns, riding a three game win streak, seemed destined to cover the +5.5 point spread bestowed upon them from the top betting sites.  Baker Mayfield has thrown six touchdowns to just one pick over Cleveland’s win streak. If Baker can continue his stellar play, he will likely outduel Lamar Jackson on the betting lines, and the scoreboard.

CIN Bengals (+14.5) at PIT Steelers (-14.5)

CIN BengalsCIN Bengals (+14.5

Sunday 12/30 4:25 PM (ET),

PIT SteelersPIT Steelers (-14.5)

Tip – Pittsburgh is all but guaranteed to win this game, the question is, by how much? The Steelers have won only three games by 14.5+ points all season long, and haven’t won a single game by that spread since week ten. Cincinnati has lost five of their past six games, none of which has come by 14.5 points or more.
